¹⁸ The wicked worketh a deceitful worke: but hee that soweth righteousnes, shall receiue a sure rewarde.

¹³ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of tyrants, which they shall receiue of the Almightie. ¹⁴ If his children be in great nomber, the sworde shall destroy them, and his posteritie shall not be satisfied with bread. ¹⁵ His remnant shall be buried in death, and his widowes shall not weepe. ¹⁶ Though he shoulde heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay, ¹⁷ He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall deuide the siluer. ¹⁸ He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a lodge that the watchman maketh. ¹⁹ When the rich man sleepeth, he shall not be gathered to his fathers: they opened their eyes, and he was gone. ²⁰ Terrours shall take him as waters, and a tempest shall cary him away by night. ²¹ The East winde shall take him away, and he shall depart: and it shall hurle him out of his place. ²² And God shall cast vpon him and not spare, though he would faine flee out of his hand. ²³ Euery man shall clap their hands at him, and hisse at him out of their place.

⁵ They that sowe in teares, shall reape in ioy. ⁶ They went weeping and caried precious seede: but they shall returne with ioye and bring their sheaues.

¹⁸ So they lay waite for blood and lie priuily for their liues.

²² His owne iniquities shall take the wicked himselfe, and he shall be holden with the cordes of his owne sinne.

⁸ He that soweth iniquitie, shall reape affliction, and the rodde of his anger shall faile.

⁸ He that diggeth a pit, shall fal into it, and he that breaketh the hedge, a serpent shall bite him.

⁵ They hatch cockatrice egges, and weaue the spiders webbe: he that eateth of their egges, dieth, and that which is trode vpon, breaketh out into a serpent. ⁶ Their webbes shall be no garment, neither shall they couer themselues with their labours: for their workes are workes of iniquitie, and the worke of crueltie is in their handes. ⁷ Their feete runne to euill, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are wicked thoughts: desolation and destruction is in their paths. ⁸ The way of peace they knowe not, and there is none equitie in their goings: they haue made them crooked paths: whosoeuer goeth therein, shall not knowe peace.

¹² Sowe to your selues in righteousnes: reape after the measure of mercy: breake vp your fallowe grounde: for it is time to seeke the Lord, till he come and raine righteousnesse vpon you. ¹³ But you haue plowed wickednesse: ye haue reaped iniquitie: you haue eaten the fruite of lies: because thou didest trust in thine owne waies, and in the multitude of thy strong men,

⁸ For hee that soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reape corruption: but hee that soweth to the spirit, shall of the spirit reape life euerlasting. ⁹ Let vs not therefore be weary of well doing: for in due season we shall reape, if we faint not.

²² That is, that yee cast off, concerning the conuersation in time past, that olde man, which is corrupt through the deceiueable lustes,

¹⁸ And the fruite of righteousnesse is sowen in peace, of them that make peace.
