¹⁶ The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: but the reuenues of the wicked to sinne.

¹⁸ The wicked worketh a deceitful worke: but hee that soweth righteousnes, shall receiue a sure rewarde. ¹⁹ As righteousnes leadeth to life: so hee that followeth euill, seeketh his owne death.

³⁰ The fruite of the righteous is as a tree of life, and he that winneth soules, is wise.

¹⁰ Say ye, Surely it shalbe well with the iust: for they shall eate the fruite of their workes. ¹¹ Woe be to the wicked, it shalbe euill with him: for the reward of his handes shalbe giuen him.

¹⁷ So euery good tree bringeth foorth good fruite, and a corrupt tree bringeth forth euill fruite. ¹⁸ A good tree can not bring forth euil fruite: neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruite.

³³ Either make the tree good, and his fruite good: or els make the tree euill, and his fruite euil: for the tree is knowen by the fruite. ³⁴ O generations of vipers, howe can you speake good things, when ye are euill? For of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

²⁷ Labour not for ye meate which perisheth, but for the meate that endureth vnto euerlasting life, which the Sonne of man shall giue vnto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

²³ For the wages of sinne is death: but the gift of God is eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord.

⁵⁸ Therefore my beloued brethren, be ye stedfast, vnmoueable, aboundant alwayes in the worke of the Lord, forasmuch as ye knowe that your labour is not in vaine in the Lord.

⁷ Be not deceiued: God is not mocked: for whatsoeuer a man soweth, that shall hee also reape. ⁸ For hee that soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reape corruption: but hee that soweth to the spirit, shall of the spirit reape life euerlasting. ⁹ Let vs not therefore be weary of well doing: for in due season we shall reape, if we faint not.

¹⁷ And their worde shall fret as a canker: of which sort is Hymeneus and Philetus, ¹⁸ Which as concerning ye trueth haue erred from the marke, saying that the resurrection is past alreadie, and do destroy the faith of certaine.

¹³ But the euill men and deceiuers, shall waxe worse and worse, deceiuing, and being deceiued.

¹⁰ For God is not vnrighteous, that hee should forget your worke, and labour of loue, which ye shewed toward his Name, in that ye haue ministred vnto the Saints, and yet minister.
