²¹ Who shall change our vile bodie, that it may be fashioned like vnto his glorious body, according to the working, whereby hee is able euen to subdue all things vnto him selfe.

⁸ He wil destroy death for euer: and the Lord God wil wipe away the teares from all faces, and the rebuke of his people will he take away out of all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

¹⁹ Thy dead men shall liue: euen with my body shall they rise. Awake, and sing, ye that dwel in dust: for thy dewe is as the dew of herbes, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

¹⁴ I wil redeeme them from the power of the graue: I will deliuer them from death: O death, I wil be thy death: O graue, I will be thy destruction: repentance is hid from mine eyes.

² And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the Sunne, and his clothes were as white as the light.

²⁹ Then Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, Ye are deceiued, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.

¹⁸ And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, saying, All power is giuen vnto me, in heauen, and in earth.

²⁵ Verely, verely I say vnto you, the houre shall come, and now is, when the dead shall heare the voyce of the Sonne of God: and they that heare it, shall liue. ²⁶ For as the Father hath life in himselfe, so likewise hath he giuen to the Sonne to haue life in himselfe, ²⁷ And hath giuen him power also to execute iudgement, in that he is the Sonne of man. ²⁸ Marueile not at this: for the houre shall come, in the which all that are in the graues, shall heare his voyce. ²⁹ And they shall come foorth, that haue done good, vnto ye resurrection of life: but they that haue done euil, vnto the resurrection of condemnation.

²⁴ Martha said vnto him, I know that he shall rise againe in the resurrection at the last day. ²⁵ Iesus saide vnto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that beleeueth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he liue. ²⁶ And whosoeuer liueth, and beleeueth in me, shall neuer die: Beleeuest thou this?

²⁹ For those which hee knewe before, he also predestinate to bee made like to the image of his Sonne, that hee might be the first borne among many brethren.

²⁵ For he must reigne till hee hath put all his enemies vnder his feete. ²⁶ The last enemie that shalbe destroyed, is death. ²⁷ For he hath put downe all things vnder his feete. (And when he saith that all things are subdued to him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put downe all things vnder him.) ²⁸ And when all things shalbe subdued vnto him, then shall the Sonne also himselfe be subiect vnto him, that did subdue all things vnder him, that God may be all in all.

⁴² So also is the resurrection of the dead. The bodie is sowen in corruption, and is raysed in incorruption. ⁴³ It is sowen in dishonour, and is raysed in glory: it is sowen in weakenesse, and is raysed in power. ⁴⁴ It is sowen a naturall body, and is raysed a spirituall body: there is a naturall body, and there is a spirituall body. ⁴⁵ As it is also written, The first man Adam was made a liuing soule: and the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit. ⁴⁶ Howbeit that was not first which is spirituall: but that which is naturall, and afterward that which is spirituall. ⁴⁷ The first man is of the earth, earthly: the second man is the Lord from heauen. ⁴⁸ As is the earthly, such are they that are earthly: and as is the heauenly, such are they also that are heauenly. ⁴⁹ And as we haue borne the image of the earthly, so shall we beare the image of the heauenly. ⁵⁰ This say I, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherite the kingdome of God, neither doeth corruption inherite incorruption. ⁵¹ Behold, I shewe you a secret thing, We shall not all sleepe, but we shall all be changed, ⁵² In a moment, in the twinckling of an eye at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall blow, and the dead shalbe raysed vp incorruptible, and we shalbe changed. ⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption: and this mortall must put on immortalitie. ⁵⁴ So when this corruptible hath put on incorruption, and this mortall hath put on immortalitie, then shalbe brought to passe the saying that is written, Death is swallowed vp into victorie. ⁵⁵ O death where is thy sting? O graue where is thy victorie? ⁵⁶ The sting of death is sinne: and ye strength of sinne is the Lawe.

¹⁹ And what is the exceeding greatnesse of his power toward vs, which beleeue, according to the working of his mightie power, ²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his right hand in the heauenly places,

⁴ When Christ which is our life, shall appeare, then shall ye also appeare with him in glory.

² Dearely beloued, nowe are we the sonnes of God, but yet it is not made manifest what we shall be: and we know that when he shalbe made manifest, we shalbe like him: for we shall see him as he is.

⁸ I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, Which is, and Which was, and Which is to come, euen the Almightie.

¹³ And in the middes of the seuen candlestickes, one like vnto the Sonne of man, clothed with a garment downe to the feete, and girded about the pappes with a golden girdle. ¹⁴ His head, and heares were white as white wooll, and as snowe, and his eyes were as a flame of fire, ¹⁵ And his feete like vnto fine brasse, burning as in a fornace: and his voyce as the sounde of many waters. ¹⁶ And he had in his right hand seuen starres: and out of his mouth went a sharpe two edged sword: and his face shone as the sunne shineth in his strength. ¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feete as dead: then he laid his right hand vpon me, saying vnto me, Feare not: I am that first and that last, ¹⁸ And am aliue, but I was dead: and beholde, I am aliue for euermore, Amen: and I haue the keyes of hell and of death. ¹⁹ Write the things which thou hast seene, and the things which are, and the things which shall come hereafter. ²⁰ The misterie of the seuen starres which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seuen golden candlestickes, is this, The seuen starres are the Angels of the seuen Churches: and the seuen candlestickes which thou sawest, are the seuen Churches.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and one that sate on it, from whose face fled away both the earth and heauen, and their place was no more found. ¹² And I saw the dead, both great and small stand before God: and the bookes were opened, and another booke was opened, which is the booke of life, and the dead were iudged of those thinges, which were written in the bookes, according to their woorkes. ¹³ And the sea gaue vp her dead, which were in her, and death and hell deliuered vp the dead, which were in them: and they were iudged euery man according to their woorkes. ¹⁴ And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire: this is the second death. ¹⁵ And whosoeuer was not found written in the booke of life, was cast into the lake of fire.
