⁹ Wherefore God hath also highly exalted him, and giuen him a Name aboue euery name,

¹⁵ I will also put enimitie betweene thee and the woman, and betweene thy seede and her seede. He shall breake thine head, and thou shalt bruise his heele.

⁶ Euen I haue set my King vpon Zion mine holy mountaine. ⁷ I will declare the decree: that is, the Lord hath said vnto me, Thou art my Sonne: this day haue I begotten thee. ⁸ Aske of me, and I shall giue thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the endes of the earth for thy possession. ⁹ Thou shalt krush them with a scepter of yron, and breake them in pieces like a potters vessell. ¹⁰ Be wise nowe therefore, ye Kings: be learned ye Iudges of the earth. ¹¹ Serue the Lord in feare, and reioyce in trembling. ¹² Kisse the sonne, least he be angry, and ye perish in the way, when his wrath shall suddenly burne. blessed are all that trust in him.

⁵ For thou hast made him a little lower then God, and crowned him with glory and worship. ⁶ Thou hast made him to haue dominion in the workes of thine hands: thou hast put all things vnder his feete: ⁷ All sheepe and oxen: yea, and the beastes of the fielde: ⁸ The foules of the ayre, and the fish of the sea, and that which passeth through the paths of the seas.

⁶ Thy throne, O God, is for euer and euer: the scepter of thy kingdome is a scepter of righteousnesse. ⁷ Thou louest righteousnes, and hatest wickednesse, because God, euen thy God hath anoynted thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy fellowes.

²⁹ When I am poore and in heauinesse, thine helpe, O God, shall exalt me. ³⁰ I will praise the Name of God with a song, and magnifie him with thankesgiuing.

¹⁷ His name shall be for euer: his name shall indure as long as the sunne: all nations shall blesse him, and be blessed in him. ¹⁸ Blessed be the Lord God, euen the God of Israel, which onely doeth wonderous things. ¹⁹ And blessed be his glorious Name for euer: and let all the earth be filled with his glorie. ²⁷ Also I wil make him my first borne, higher then the Kings of the earth.

¹⁴ Because he hath loued me, therefore will I deliuer him: I will exalt him because hee hath knowen my Name.

¹ A Psalme of David. The Lord said vnto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, vntill I make thine enemies thy footestoole.

⁵ The Lord, that is at thy right hand, shall wound Kings in the day of his wrath.

⁷ The increase of his gouernement and peace shall haue none end: he shall sit vpon the throne of Dauid, and vpon his kingdome, to order it, and to stablish it with iudgement and with iustice, from hencefoorth, euen for euer: the zeale of the Lord of hostes will performe this.

⁶ And hee sayde, It is a small thing that thou shouldest be my seruaunt, to raise vp the tribes of Iaakob, and to restore the desolations of Israel: I will also giue thee for a light of the Gentiles, that thou maiest bee my saluation vnto the ende of the worlde. ⁷ Thus sayeth the Lord the redeemer of Israel, and his Holie one, to him that is despised in soule, to a nation that is abhorred, to a seruaunt of rulers, Kinges shall see, and arise, and princes shall worship, because of the Lord, that is faithfull: and ye Holy one of Israel, which hath chosen thee. ⁸ Thus sayeth the Lord, In an acceptable time haue I heard thee, and in a day of saluation haue I helped thee: and I will preserue thee, and wil giue thee for a couenant of ye people, that thou maiest raise vp the earth, and obtaine the inheritance of the desolate heritages:

¹³ Beholde, my seruant shall prosper: he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very hie.

¹² Therefore will I giue him a portion with the great, and he shall deuide the spoyle with the strong, because hee hath powred out his soule vnto death: and he was counted with the transgressers, and he bare the sinne of many, and prayed for the trespassers.

⁴⁴ And in the dayes of these Kings, shall the God of heauen set vp a kingdome, which shall neuer be destroyed: and this kingdome shall not be giuen to another people, but it shall breake, and destroy al these kingdomes, and it shall stand for euer. ⁴⁵ Where as thou sawest, that the stone was cut of the mountaine without handes, and that it brake in pieces the yron, the brasse, the clay, the siluer, and the golde: so the great God hath shewed the King, what shall come to passe hereafter, and the dreame is true, and the interpretation thereof is sure.

¹⁴ And he gaue him dominion, and honour, and a kingdome, that all people, nations and languages should serue him: his dominion is an euerlasting dominion, which shall neuer bee taken away: and his kingdome shall neuer be destroyed.

²⁷ All things are giuen vnto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Sonne, but ye Father: neither knoweth any man ye Father, but the Sonne, and he to whom ye Sonne will reueile him.

¹⁸ And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, saying, All power is giuen vnto me, in heauen, and in earth.

²² All things are giuen me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Sonne is, but the Father: neither who the Father is, saue the Sonne, and he to whom the Sonne will reueile him.

³⁵ The Father loueth the Sonne, and hath giuen all things into his hande. ³⁶ Hee that beleeueth in the Sonne, hath euerlasting life, and hee that obeyeth not the Sonne, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

²² For the Father iudgeth no man, but hath committed all iudgement vnto the Sonne, ²³ Because that all men shoulde honour the Sonne, as they honour the Father: he that honoureth not the Sonne, the same honoureth not the Father, which hath sent him. ²⁴ Verely, verely I say vnto you, he that heareth my worde, and beleeueth him that sent me, hath euerlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but hath passed from death vnto life. ²⁵ Verely, verely I say vnto you, the houre shall come, and now is, when the dead shall heare the voyce of the Sonne of God: and they that heare it, shall liue. ²⁶ For as the Father hath life in himselfe, so likewise hath he giuen to the Sonne to haue life in himselfe, ²⁷ And hath giuen him power also to execute iudgement, in that he is the Sonne of man.

³ Iesus knowing that the Father had giuen all things into his hands, and that he was come forth from God, and went to God,

¹ These things spake Iesus, and lift vp his eyes to heauen, and saide, Father, that houre is come: glorifie thy Sonne, that thy Sonne also may glorifie thee, ² As thou hast giuen him power ouer all flesh, that he shoulde giue eternall life to all them that thou hast giuen him. ³ And this is life eternall, that they knowe thee to be the onely very God, and whom thou hast sent, Iesus Christ.

⁵ And nowe glorifie me, thou Father, with thine owne selfe, with the glorie which I had with thee before the world was.

³² This Iesus hath God raised vp, whereof we all are witnesses. ³³ Since then that he by the right hande of God hath bene exalted, and hath receiued of his Father the promise of the holy Ghost, hee hath shed foorth this which yee nowe see and heare. ³⁴ For Dauid is not ascended into heauen, but he sayth, The Lord sayd to my Lord, Sit at my right hande, ³⁵ Vntill I make thine enemies thy footestoole. ³⁶ Therefore, let all the house of Israel know for a suretie, that God hath made him both Lord, and Christ, this Iesus, I say, whome yee haue crucified.

³¹ Him hath God lift vp with his right hand, to be a Prince and a Sauiour, to giue repentance to Israel, and forgiuenes of sinnes.

⁹ For Christ therefore died and rose againe, and reuiued, that he might be Lord both of the dead and the quicke. ¹⁰ But why doest thou condemne thy brother? or why doest thou despise thy brother? for we shall all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christ. ¹¹ For it is written, I liue, sayth the Lord, and euery knee shall bowe to me, and all tongues shall confesse vnto God.

²⁴ Then shalbe the end, when he hath deliuered vp the kingdome to God, euen the Father, when he hath put downe all rule, and all authoritie and power. ²⁵ For he must reigne till hee hath put all his enemies vnder his feete. ²⁶ The last enemie that shalbe destroyed, is death. ²⁷ For he hath put downe all things vnder his feete. (And when he saith that all things are subdued to him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put downe all things vnder him.)

²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his right hand in the heauenly places, ²¹ Farre aboue al principalitie, and power, and might, and domination, and euery Name, that is named, not in this world only, but also in that that is to come, ²² And hath made all things subiect vnder his feete, and hath giuen him ouer all things to be the head to the Church, ²³ Which is his body, euen the fulnesse of him that filleth all in all things.

¹⁸ And hee is the head of the body of the Church: he is the beginning, and the first begotten of the dead, that in all thinges hee might haue the preeminence.

⁴ And is made so much more excellent then the Angels, in as much as hee hath obteined a more excellent Name then they.

⁹ But we see Iesus crowned with glory and honour, which was made litle inferiour to the Angels, through the suffering of death, that by Gods grace he might taste death for all men.

² Looking vnto Iesus the authour and finisher of our faith, who for the ioy that was set before him, endured the crosse, and despised the shame, and is set at the right hand of the throne of God.

²² Which is at the right hand of God, gone into heauen, to whom the Angels, and Powers, and might are subiect.

¹⁷ For he receiued of God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voyce to him from that excellent glory, This is my beloued Sonne, in whom I am well pleased.

⁵ And from Iesus Christ, which is that faithful witnes, and that first begotten of the dead, and that Prince of the Kings of the earth, vnto him that loued vs, and washed vs from our sinnes in his blood,

²¹ To him that ouercommeth, will I graunt to sit with me in my throne, euen as I ouercame, and sit with my Father in his throne.

¹² Saying with a loude voice, Worthie is the Lambe that was killed to receiue power, and riches, and wisdome, and strength, and honour, and glory, and praise.

¹⁵ And the seuenth Angell blewe the trumpet, and there were great voyces in heauen, saying, The kingdomes of this worlde are our Lordes, and his Christes, and he shall reigne for euermore.

¹⁶ And he hath vpon his garment, and vpon his thigh a name written, THE KINGS OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
