²² And I sayde vnto the Leuites, that they should clense themselues, and that they shoulde come and keepe the gates, to sanctifie the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and pardon me according to thy great mercy.

¹² Keepe the Sabbath day, to sanctifie it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee.

⁴ Then the King commanded Hilkiah the hie Priest and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the doore, to bring out of ye Temple of the Lord all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the groue, and for all the hoste of heauen, and he burnt them without Ierusalem in the fieldes of Kedron, and caryed the pouder of them into Beth-el.

¹² And he saide vnto them, Ye are the chiefe fathers of the Leuites: sanctifie your selues, and your brethren, and bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel vnto the place that I haue prepared for it. ¹³ For because ye were not there at the first, the Lord our God made a breach among vs: for we sought him not after due order. ¹⁴ So the Priestes and the Leuites sanctified them selues to bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel.

⁴ And he brought in the Priests and the Leuites, and gathered them into the East streete, ⁵ And said vnto them, Heare me, ye Leuites: sanctifie nowe your selues, and sanctifie the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and cary forth the filthinesse out of the Sanctuarie.

²⁴ And the Priests slewe them, and with the blood of them they clensed the altar to reconcile all Israel: for the King had commanded for all Israel the burnt offring and the sinne offring.

²⁷ And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offring vpon the altar: and when the burnt offring began, the song of the Lord beganne with the trumpets, and the instruments of Dauid King of Israel.

³⁰ Then Hezekiah the King and the princes commanded the Leuites to prayse the Lord with the wordes of Dauid, and of Asaph the Seer. so they praysed with ioy, and they bowed themselues, and worshipped.

¹⁹ Remember me, O my God, in goodnesse, according to all that I haue done for this people.

⁶⁴ These sought their writing of the genealogies, but it was not founde: therefore they were put from the Priesthood. ⁶⁵ And the Tirshatha sayd vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy, till there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim.

³⁰ And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.

¹⁴ Remember me, O my God, herein, and wipe not out my kindenes that I haue shewed on the house of my God, and on the offices thereof.

³¹ And for the offring of the wood at times appoynted, and for the first fruites. Remember me, O my God, in goodnes.

⁷ But I wil come into thine house in the multitude of thy mercie: and in thy feare will I worship toward thine holy Temple.

⁶ Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies, and thy louing kindnesse: for they haue beene for euer. ⁷ Remember not the sinnes of my youth, nor my rebellions, but according to thy kindenesse remember thou me, euen for thy goodnesse sake, O Lord.

¹ To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David, when the Prophet Nathan came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. Have mercie vpon me, O God, according to thy louing kindnes: according to the multitude of thy compassions put away mine iniquities.

³ If thou, O Lord, straightly markest iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? ⁴ But mercie is with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

⁷ Let Israel waite on the Lord: for with the Lord is mercie, and with him is great redemption.

¹ A song of degrees. Lord, remember Dauid with all his affliction. ² Who sware vnto the Lord, and vowed vnto the mightie God of Iaakob, saying, ³ I will not enter into the tabernacle of mine house, nor come vpon my pallet or bed, ⁴ Nor suffer mine eyes to sleepe, nor mine eye lids to slumber, ⁵ Vntill I finde out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mightie God of Iaakob.

¹ A Psalme of David. Hear my prayer, O Lord, and hearken vnto my supplication: answere me in thy trueth and in thy righteousnes. ² (And enter not into iudgement with thy seruant: for in thy sight shall none that liueth, be iustified)

³ And saide, I beseeche thee, Lord, remember nowe howe I haue walked before thee in trueth, and with a perfite heart, and haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore.

²³ And Kings shalbe thy nourcing fathers, and Queenes shalbe thy nources: they shall worship thee with their faces towarde the earth, and licke vp the dust of thy feete: and thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that waite for me.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his wayes, and the vnrighteous his owne imaginations, and returne vnto the Lord, and he wil haue mercy vpon him: and to our God, for hee is very ready to forgiue.

¹² For our reioycing is this, the testimonie of our conscience, that in simplicitie and godly purenesse, and not in fleshly wisedome, but by the grace of God wee haue had our conuersation in the worlde, and most of all to you wardes.

⁷ I haue fought a good fight, and haue finished my course: I haue kept the faith. ⁸ For hence foorth is laide vp for me the crowne of righteousnesse, which the Lord the righteous iudge shall giue me at that day: and not to me onely, but vnto all them also that loue that his appearing.
