¹³ Enter in at the streight gate: for it is the wide gate, and broade way that leadeth to destruction: and many there be which goe in thereat,

⁵ When the Lord sawe that the wickednesse of man was great in the earth, and all the imaginations of the thoughtes of his heart were onely euill continually,

¹² Then God looked vpon the earth, and beholde, it was corrupt: for all flesh had corrupt his way vpon the earth.

² The Lord looked downe from heauen vpon the children of men, to see if there were any that would vnderstand, and seeke God. ³ All are gone out of the way: they are all corrupt: there is none that doeth good, no not one.

²⁷ Her house is the way vnto ye graue, which goeth downe to the chambers of death.

⁶ Forsake your way, ye foolish, and ye shall liue: and walke in the way of vnderstanding.

²⁵ There is a way that seemeth right vnto man: but the issue thereof are the wayes of death.

⁹ Except the Lord of hostes had reserued vnto vs, euen a small remnant: we should haue bene as Sodom, and should haue bene like vnto Gomorah.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his wayes, and the vnrighteous his owne imaginations, and returne vnto the Lord, and he wil haue mercy vpon him: and to our God, for hee is very ready to forgiue.

²⁷ Againe when the wicked turneth away from his wickednes that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawfull and right, he shall saue his soule aliue. ²⁸ Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that hee hath committed, he shall surely liue and shall not die. ²⁹ Yet saith ye house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equall. O house of Israel, are not my wayes equall? or are not your wayes vnequall? ³⁰ Therefore I will iudge you, O house of Israel, euery one according to his wayes, sayth the Lord God: returne therefore and cause others to turne away from all your transgressions: so iniquitie shall not be your destruction. ³¹ Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye haue transgressed, and make you a newe heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? ³² For I desire not the death of him that dyeth, sayth the Lord God: cause therefore one another to returne, and liue ye.

² And said, Repent: for the kingdome of heauen is at hand.

⁸ Bring foorth therefore fruite worthy amendment of life.

² And Iesus called a litle childe vnto him, and set him in the mids of them, ³ And sayd, Verely I say vnto you, except ye be conuerted, and become as litle children, ye shall not enter into the kingdome of heauen.

¹³ Wo therefore be vnto you, Scribes and Pharises, hypocrites, because ye shut vp the kingdome of heauen before men: for ye your selues go not in, neither suffer ye them that would enter, to come in.

⁴¹ Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels.

⁴⁶ And these shall goe into euerlasting paine, and the righteous into life eternall.

³³ And it came to passe, as they departed from him, Peter said vnto Iesus, Master, it is good for vs to be here: let vs therefore make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias, and wist not what he said.

²⁴ Striue to enter in at the straite gate: for many, I say vnto you, will seeke to enter in, and shall not be able. ²⁵ When the good man of the house is risen vp, and hath shut to the doore, and ye begin to stand without, and to knocke at the doore, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs, and he shall answere and say vnto you, I know you not whence ye are,

³³ So likewise, whosoeuer hee be of you, that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

⁹ I am that doore: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saued, and shall go in, and go out, and finde pasture.

⁶ Iesus sayd vnto him, I am that Way, and that Trueth, and that Life. No man commeth vnto the Father, but by me.

³⁸ Then Peter said vnto them, Amend your liues, and bee baptized euery one of you in the Name of Iesus Christ for the remission of sinnes: and ye shall receiue the gift of the holy Ghost. ³⁹ For the promise is made vnto you, and to your children, and to all that are a farre off, euen as many as the Lord our God shall call. ⁴⁰ And with many other words he besought and exhorted them, saying, Saue your selues from this froward generation.

¹⁹ Amend your liues therefore, and turne, that your sinnes may be put away, whe the time of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

⁹ What then? are we more excellent? No, in no wise: for we haue alreadie prooued, that all, both Iewes and Gentiles are vnder sinne, ¹⁰ As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one. ¹¹ There is none that vnderstandeth: there is none that seeketh God. ¹² They haue all gone out of the way: they haue bene made altogether vnprofitable: there is none that doeth good, no not one. ¹³ Their throte is an open sepulchre: they haue vsed their tongues to deceit: the poyson of aspes is vnder their lippes. ¹⁴ Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitternesse. ¹⁵ Their feete are swift to shead blood. ¹⁶ Destruction and calamity are in their waies, ¹⁷ And ye way of peace they haue not knowen. ¹⁸ The feare of God is not before their eies. ¹⁹ Now we know that whatsoeuer ye Lawe saieth, it saieth it to them which are vnder ye Law, that euery mouth may bee stopped, and all the world be subiect to the iudgement of God.

²² What and if God would, to shewe his wrath, and to make his power knowen, suffer with long patience the vessels of wrath, prepared to destruction?

⁴ In whom the God of this world hath blinded the mindes, that is, of the infidels, that the light of the glorious Gospell of Christ, which is the image of God, should not shine vnto them.

¹⁷ Wherefore come out from among them, and separate your selues, saith the Lord, and touch none vncleane thing, and I wil receiue you.

²⁴ For they that are Christes, haue crucified the flesh with the affections and the lustes.

² Wherein, in times past ye walked, according to the course of this world, and after the prince that ruleth in the aire, euen the spirite, that nowe worketh in the children of disobedience, ³ Among whom we also had our conuersation in time past, in the lustes of our flesh, in fulfilling the will of the flesh, and of the minde, and were by nature the children of wrath, as well as others.

¹⁹ Whose ende is damnation, whose God is their bellie, and whose glorie is to their shame, which minde earthly things.

⁸ In flaming fire, rendring vengeance vnto them, that doe not know God, and which obey not vnto the Gospel of our Lord Iesus Christ, ⁹ Which shall be punished with euerlasting perdition, from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power,

¹⁷ For the time is come, that iudgement must beginne at the house of God. If it first beginne at vs, what shall the ende be of them which obey not the Gospel of God? ¹⁸ And if the righteous scarcely bee saued, where shall the vngodly and the sinner appeare?

¹⁹ We knowe that we are of God, and this whole world lieth in wickednesse.

⁹ And the great dragon, that olde serpent, called the deuil and Satan, was cast out, which deceiueth all the world: he was euen cast into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

⁸ Therefore all that dwell vpon the earth, shall worship him, whose names are not written in the booke of life of that Lambe, which was slaine from the beginning of the world.

³ And cast him into the bottomles pit, and he shut him vp, and sealed the doore vpon him, that he should deceiue the people no more, till the thousand yeeres were fulfilled: for after that he must be loosed for a litle season.

¹⁵ And whosoeuer was not found written in the booke of life, was cast into the lake of fire.
