³⁰ And beholde, two blinde men, sitting by the way side, when they heard that Iesus passed by, cryed, saying, O Lord, the Sonne of Dauid, haue mercie on vs.

⁸ The Lord giueth sight to the blinde: the Lord rayseth vp the crooked: the Lord loueth the righteous.

¹⁸ And in that day shall the deafe heare the wordes of the booke, and the eyes of the blinde shall see out of obscuritie, and out of darkenesse.

⁵ Then shall the eyes of the blinde be lightened, and the eares of the deafe be opened. ⁶ Then shall ye lame man leape as an hart, and the dumme mans tongue shall sing: for in the wildernes shall waters breake out, and riuers in ye desert.

¹⁶ And I will bring the blinde by a way, that they knewe not, and lead them by paths that they haue not knowen: I will make darkenesse light before them, and crooked thinges straight. These thinges will I doe vnto them, and not forsake them.

¹⁸ Heare, ye deafe: and ye blinde, regarde, that ye may see.

¹⁰ Wee grope for the wall like the blinde, and we grope as one without eyes: we stumble at the noone day as in the twilight: we are in solitarie places, as dead men.

¹ The Spirit of the Lord God is vpon mee, therefore hath the Lord anoynted mee: hee hath sent mee to preache good tidings vnto the poore, to binde vp the broken hearted, to preach libertie to the captiues, and to them that are bound, the opening of the prison, ² To preache the acceptable yeere of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all that mourne,

²⁷ And as Iesus departed thence, two blinde men followed him, crying, and saying, O sonne of Dauid, haue mercie vpon vs. ²⁸ And when hee was come into the house, the blinde came to him, and Iesus saide vnto them, Beleeue yee that I am able to doe this? And they sayd vnto him, Yea, Lord. ²⁹ Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it vnto you. ³⁰ And their eyes were opened, and Iesus gaue them great charge, saying, See that no man knowe it. ³¹ But when they were departed, they spread abroad his fame throughout all that land.

²² Then was brought to him one, possessed with a deuill, both blind, and dumme, and he healed him, so that he which was blind and dumme, both spake and saw. ²³ And all the people were amased, and saide, Is not this that sonne of Dauid?

²² And beholde, a woman a Cananite came out of the same coasts, and cried, saying vnto him, Haue mercie on me, O Lord, the sonne of Dauid: my daughter is miserably vexed with a deuil.

⁹ Moreouer, the people that went before, and they also that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Sonne of Dauid, Blessed be hee that commeth in the Name of the Lord, Hosanna thou which art in the highest heauens.

¹⁴ Then the blinde, and the halt came to him in the Temple, and he healed them.

⁴² Saying, What thinke ye of Christ? whose sonne is he? They sayd vnto him, Dauids.

⁴⁶ Then they came to Iericho: and as he went out of Iericho with his disciples, and a great multitude, Bartimeus the sonne of Timeus, a blinde man, sate by the wayes side, begging.

¹⁸ The Spirit of the Lord is vpon mee, because he hath anoynted me, that I should preach the Gospel to the poore: he hath sent mee, that I should heale the broken hearted, that I should preach deliuerance to the captiues, and recouering of sight to the blinde, that I should set at libertie them that are bruised:

²¹ And at that time, he cured many of their sickenesses, and plagues, and of euill spirites, and vnto many blinde men he gaue sight freely.

¹ And as Iesus passed by, he sawe a man which was blinde from his birth. ² And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sinne, this man, or his parents, that he was borne blinde? ³ Iesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents, but that the workes of God should be shewed on him. ⁴ I must worke the workes of him that sent me, while it is day: the night commeth when no man can worke. ⁵ As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. ⁶ Assoone as he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spettle, and anointed the eyes of the blinde with the clay, ⁷ And sayd vnto him, Go wash in the poole of Siloam (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came againe seeing. ⁸ Nowe the neighbours and they that had seene him before, when he was blinde, sayd, Is not this he that sate and begged? ⁹ Some said, This is he: and other sayd, He is like him: but he himselfe sayd, I am he. ¹⁰ Therefore they sayd vnto him, Howe were thine eyes opened? ¹¹ He answered, and sayd, The man that is called Iesus, made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and sayde vnto me, Goe to the poole of Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and receiued sight. ¹² Then they sayd vnto him, Where is he? He sayd, I can not tell.

³⁰ Therefore, seeing hee was a Prophet, and knewe that God had sworne with an othe to him, that of the fruite of his loynes hee woulde raise vp Christ concerning the flesh, to set him vpon his throne,

³ Concerning his Sonne Iesus Christ our Lord (which was made of the seede of Dauid according to the flesh, ⁴ And declared mightily to be the Sonne of God, touching the Spirit of sanctification by the resurrection from the dead)
