²⁹ And assoone as the fruite sheweth it selfe, anon hee putteth in the sickle, because the haruest is come.

²⁶ Thou shalt goe to thy graue in a ful age, as a ricke of corne commeth in due season into the barne.

¹ The righteous perisheth, and no man considereth it in heart: and mercifull men are taken away, and no man vnderstandeth that the righteous is taken away from the euill to come. ² Peace shall come: they shall rest in their beds, euery one that walketh before him.

¹³ Put in your sithes, for the haruest is ripe: come, get you downe, for the winepresse is full: yea, the winepresses runne ouer, for their wickednesse is great.

³⁰ Let both growe together vntill the haruest, and in time of haruest I will say to the reapers, Gather yee first the tares, and binde them in sheaues to burne them: but gather the wheate into my barne.

⁴⁰ As then the tares are gathered and burned in ye fire, so shall it be in the end of this world. ⁴¹ The Sonne of man shall send forth his Angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which doe iniquitie, ⁴² And shall cast them into a fornace of fire. There shalbe wailing and gnashing of teeth. ⁴³ Then shall the iust men shine as ye sunne in the kingdome of their Father. Hee that hath eares to heare, let him heare.

⁷ I haue fought a good fight, and haue finished my course: I haue kept the faith. ⁸ For hence foorth is laide vp for me the crowne of righteousnesse, which the Lord the righteous iudge shall giue me at that day: and not to me onely, but vnto all them also that loue that his appearing.

Euen so sayth the Spirit: for they rest from their labours, and their workes follow them. ¹⁴ And I looked, and behold, a white cloude, and vpon the cloude one sitting like vnto the Sonne of man, hauing on his head a golden crowne, and in his hand a sharpe sickle. ¹⁵ And another Angel came out of the Temple, crying with a loude voyce to him that sate on the cloude, Thrust in thy sickle and reape: for the time is come to reape: for the haruest of the earth is ripe. ¹⁶ And he that sate on the cloude, thrust in his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. ¹⁷ Then an other Angel came out of the Temple, which is in heauen, hauing also a sharpe sickle.
