¹¹ And he saide vnto them, To you it is giuen to knowe the mysterie of the kingdome of God: but vnto them that are without, all thinges bee done in parables,

²⁵ At that time Iesus answered, and saide, I giue thee thankes, O Father, Lord of heauen and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and men of vnderstanding, and hast opened them vnto babes.

¹¹ And he answered, and said vnto them, Because it is giuen vnto you, to know the secretes of the kingdome of heauen, but to the it is not giue. ¹² For whosoeuer hath, to him shalbe giuen, and he shall haue abundance: but whosoeuer hath not, from him shalbe taken away, euen that he hath. ¹³ Therefore speake I to them in parables, because they seeing, doe not see: and hearing, they heare not, neither vnderstand.

¹⁶ But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your eares, for they heare.

¹⁷ And Iesus answered, and saide to him, Blessed art thou, Simon, the sonne of Ionas: for flesh and blood hath not reueiled it vnto thee, but my Father which is in heauen.

¹⁰ And he sayd, Vnto you it is giuen to know the secrets of ye kingdome of God, but to other in parables, that when they see, they shoulde not see, and when they heare, they should not vnderstand.

²¹ That same houre reioyced Iesus in the spirit, and said, I confesse vnto thee, Father, Lord of heauen and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and vnderstanding, and hast reueiled them to babes: euen so, Father, because it so pleased thee. ²² All things are giuen me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Sonne is, but the Father: neither who the Father is, saue the Sonne, and he to whom the Sonne will reueile him. ²³ And he turned to his disciples, and said secretly, Blessed are the eyes, which see that ye see. ²⁴ For I tell you that many Prophets and Kings haue desired to see those things, which ye see, and haue not seene them: and to heare those things which ye heare, and haue not heard them.

⁷ For who separateth thee? and what hast thou, that thou hast not receiued? if thou hast receiued it, why reioycest thou, as though thou haddest not receiued it?

¹² For what haue I to doe, to iudge them also which are without? doe ye not iudge them that are within? ¹³ But God iudgeth them that are without. Put away therefore from among your selues that wicked man.

⁶ For God that commanded the light to shine out of darknesse, is he which hath shined in our hearts, to giue the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Iesus Christ.

⁹ And hath opened vnto vs the mysterie of his will according to his good pleasure, which he had purposed in him,

⁴ But God which is rich in mercie, through his great loue wherewith he loued vs, ⁵ Euen when we were dead by sinnes, hath quickened vs together in Christ, by whose grace ye are saued, ⁶ And hath raysed vs vp together, and made vs sit together in the heauenly places in Christ Iesus, ⁷ That he might shewe in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace, through his kindnesse toward vs in Christ Iesus. ⁸ For by grace are ye saued through faith, and that not of your selues: it is the gift of God, ⁹ Not of workes, least any man should boast himselfe. ¹⁰ For we are his workemanship created in Christ Iesus vnto good workes, which God hath ordeined, that we should walke in them.

⁵ Walke wisely towarde them that are without, and redeeme the season.

¹² That yee may behaue your selues honestly towarde them that are without, and that nothing be lacking vnto you.

⁷ He must also be well reported of, euen of them which are without, lest he fall into rebuke, and the snare of the deuill.

³ For wee our selues also were in times past vnwise, disobedient, deceiued, seruing the lustes and diuers pleasures, liuing in maliciousnes and enuie, hatefull, and hating one another: ⁴ But when that bountifulnesse and that loue of God our Sauiour toward man appeared, ⁵ Not by the woorkes of righteousnesse, which we had done, but according to his mercie he saued vs, by the washing of the newe birth, and the renewing of the holy Ghost, ⁶ Which he shed on vs aboundantly, through Iesus Christ our Sauiour, ⁷ That we, being iustified by his grace, should be made heires according to the hope of eternall life.

¹⁶ Erre not, my deare brethren. ¹⁷ Euery good giuing, and euery perfect gift is from aboue, and commeth downe from the Father of lights, with whome is no variablenes, neither shadow of turning. ¹⁸ Of his owne will begate hee vs with the woorde of trueth, that we shoulde be as the first fruites of his creatures.

²⁰ But we know that that Sone of God is come, and hath giue vs a mind to know him, which is true: and we are in him that is true, that is, in that his Sone Iesus Christ: this same is that very God, and that eternal life.
