³⁴ And saide vnto them, My soule is very heauie, euen vnto the death: tarie here, and watch.

³ He is despised and reiected of men: he is a man full of sorowes and hath experience of infirmities: we hidde as it were our faces from him: he was despised and we esteemed him not. ⁴ Surely hee hath borne our infirmities, and caried our sorowes: yet wee did iudge him, as plagued, and smitten of God, and humbled.

¹² Therefore will I giue him a portion with the great, and he shall deuide the spoyle with the strong, because hee hath powred out his soule vnto death: and he was counted with the transgressers, and he bare the sinne of many, and prayed for the trespassers.

¹² Haue ye no regarde, all yee that passe by this way? behold, and see, if there be any sorowe like vnto my sorowe, which is done vnto mee, wherewith the Lord hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce wrath.

³⁵ Watch ye therefore, (for ye know not whe ye master of the house will come, at eue, or at midnight, at the cocke crowing, or in the dawning,) ³⁶ Least if he come suddenly, he should finde you sleeping. ³⁷ And those things that I say vnto you, I say vnto all men, Watch.

³⁷ Then hee came, and founde them sleeping, and said to Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watche one houre? ³⁸ Watch ye, and pray, that ye enter not into tentation: the spirite in deede is ready, but the flesh is weake.

²⁷ Now is my soule troubled: and what shall I say? Father, saue me from this houre: but therefore came I vnto this houre.

¹⁸ And pray alwayes with all maner prayer and supplication in the Spirit: and watch thereunto with all perseuerance and supplication for al Saints, ¹⁹ And for me, that vtterance may be giuen vnto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to publish the secret of the Gospel,

⁷ Now the ende of all things is at hand. Be ye therefore sober, and watching in prayer.
