¹³ Then Pilate called together the hie Priests and the rulers, and the people,

²¹ Then the gouernour answered, and said vnto them, Whether of the twaine will ye that I let loose vnto you? And they said, Barabbas. ²² Pilate said vnto them, What shall I do then with Iesus, which is called Christ? They all said to him, Let him be crucified. ²³ Then saide the gouernour, But what euill hath he done? Then they cryed the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

¹⁴ Then Pilate said vnto them, But what euill hath he done? And they cryed the more feruently, Crucifie him.

³⁸ Pilate said vnto him, What is trueth? And when he had saide that, hee went out againe vnto the Iewes, and said vnto them, I finde in him no cause at all.

⁴ Then Pilate went foorth againe, and said vnto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may knowe, that I finde no fault in him at all.
