¹² And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were enemies one to another.

⁴ They haue said, Come and let vs cut them off from being a nation: and let the name of Israel be no more in remembrance. ⁵ For they haue consulted together in heart, and haue made a league against thee: ⁶ The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Agarims:

¹ Then came the Pharises and Sadduces, and did tempt him, desiring him to shew them a signe from heauen.

²⁷ For doutlesse, against thine holy Sonne Iesus, whome thou haddest anoynted, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel gathered themselues together,

¹³ These haue one minde, and shall giue their power, and authoritie vnto the beast. ¹⁴ These shall fight with the Lambe, and the Lambe shall ouercome them: for he is Lord of Lordes, and King of Kings: and they that are on his side, called, and chosen, and faithfull.
