⁴⁶ Then Marie sayde, My soule magnifieth the Lord,

¹ And Hannah prayed, and said, Mine heart reioyceth in the Lord, mine horne is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged ouer mine enemies, because I reioyce in thy saluation. ² There is none holy as the Lord: yea, there is none besides thee, and there is no god like our God. ³ Speake no more presumptuously: let not arrogancie come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him enterprises are established. ⁴ The bow and the mightie men are broken, and the weake haue girded themselues with strength. ⁵ They that were full, are hired foorth for bread, and the hungrie are no more hired, so that the barren hath borne seuen: and shee that had many children, is feeble. ⁶ The Lord killeth and maketh aliue: bringeth downe to the graue and raiseth vp. ⁷ The Lord maketh poore and maketh rich: bringeth lowe, and exalteth. ⁸ He raiseth vp ye poore out of the dust, and lifteth vp the begger from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherite the seate of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lordes, and he hath set the world vpon them. ⁹ Hee will keepe the feete of his Saintes, and the wicked shall keepe silence in darkenes: for in his owne might shall no man be strong. ¹⁰ The Lordes aduersaries shall be destroyed, and out of heauen shall he thunder vpon them: the Lord shall iudge the endes of the worlde, and shall giue power vnto his King, and exalt the horne of his Anoynted.

² My soule shall glory in the Lord: the humble shall heare it, and be glad. ³ Praise ye the Lord with me, and let vs magnifie his Name together.

⁹ Then my soule shalbe ioyfull in the Lord: it shall reioyce in his saluation.

¹ A Psalme of David. My soule, prayse thou the Lord, and all that is within me, prayse his holy Name. ² My soule, prayse thou the Lord, and forget not all his benefites.

¹⁵ Wherefore praise yee the Lord in the valleis, euen the Name of the Lord God of Israel, in the yles of the sea. ¹⁶ From the vttermost part of the earth wee haue heard praises, euen glory to the iust, and I sayd, My leanesse, my leanesse, woe is mee: the transgressours haue offended: yea, the transgressours haue grieuously offended.

²⁵ The whole seede of Israel shall be iustified, and glorie in the Lord.

¹⁰ I will greatly reioyce in the Lord, and my soule shall be ioyfull in my God: for he hath clothed mee with the garments of saluation, and couered me with the robe of righteousnes: hee hath decked me like a bridegrome, and as a bride tireth herselfe with her iewels.

¹⁷ For the figtree shall not flourish, neither shall fruite be in the vines: the labour of the oliue shall faile, and the fieldes shall yeelde no meate: the sheepe shalbe cut off from the folde, and there shalbe no bullocke in the stalles. ¹⁸ But I will reioyce in the Lord: I will ioy in the God of my saluation.

¹¹ And not onely so, but we also reioyce in God through our Lord Iesus Christ, by whom we haue nowe receiued the atonement.

³¹ That, according as it is written, Hee that reioyceth, let him reioyce in the Lord.

¹⁴ Now thankes be vnto God, which alwaies maketh vs to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the sauour of his knowledge by vs in euery place.

³ For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christ Iesus, and haue no confidence in the flesh:

⁴ Reioyce in the Lord alway, againe I say, reioyce.

⁸ Whome yee haue not seene, and yet loue him, in whome nowe, though yee see him not, yet doe you beleeue, and reioyce with ioy vnspeakeable and glorious,
