⁴⁰ Be ye also prepared therefore: for the Sonne of man will come at an houre when ye thinke not.

⁴² Watch therefore: for ye knowe not what houre your master will come.

⁴⁴ Therefore be ye also ready: for in the houre that ye thinke not, will the Sonne of man come.

¹³ Watch therfore: for ye know neither the day, nor the houre, when the sonne of man will come.

³³ Take heede: watch, and praie: for yee knowe not when the time is. ³⁴ For the Sonne of man is as a man going into a strange countrey, and leaueth his house, and giueth authoritie to his seruaunts, and to euery man his woorke, and commandeth the porter to watch. ³⁵ Watch ye therefore, (for ye know not whe ye master of the house will come, at eue, or at midnight, at the cocke crowing, or in the dawning,) ³⁶ Least if he come suddenly, he should finde you sleeping.

³⁴ Take heede to your selues, lest at any time your hearts be oppressed with surfeting and drunkennesse, and cares of this life, and least that day come on you at vnwares. ³⁵ For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. ³⁶ Watche therefore, and pray continually, that ye may be counted worthy to escape all these thinges that shall come to passe, and that ye may stand before the Sonne of man.

¹¹ And that, considering the season, that it is now time that we should arise from sleepe: for now is our saluation neerer, then when we beleeued it.

¹⁴ But put yee on the Lord JESUS CHRIST, and take no thought for the flesh, to fulfill the lustes of it.

⁶ Therefore let vs not sleepe as do other, but let vs watch and be sober.

¹² Looking for, and hasting vnto the comming of that day of God, by the which the heauens being on fire, shall be dissolued, and the elements shall melt with heate? ¹³ But wee looke for newe heauens, and a newe earth, according to his promise, wherein dwelleth righteousnesse. ¹⁴ Wherefore, beloued, seeing that yee looke for such thinges, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot and blamelesse.

⁷ Let vs be glad and reioyce, and giue glory to him: for the marriage of that Lambe is come, and his wife hath made her selfe ready.
