1 After these things, Iesus walked in Galile, and woulde not walke in Iudea: for the Iewes sought to kill him.

16 And therefore the Iewes did persecute Iesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Sabbath day. 17 But Iesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I worke. 18 Therefore the Iewes sought the more to kill him: not onely because he had broken the Sabbath: but said also that God was his Father, and made himselfe equall with God.
19 Did not Moses giue you a Law, and yet none of you keepeth the lawe? Why goe ye about to kill me?
25 Then saide some of them of Hierusalem, Is not this he, whom they goe about to kill?
37 I know that ye are Abrahams seede, but yee seeke to kill mee, because my worde hath no place in you.
40 But nowe ye goe about to kill mee, a man that haue told you the trueth, which I haue heard of God: this did not Abraham.
38 To wit, howe God anointed Iesus of Nazareth with the holy Ghost, and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the deuill: for God was with him.
