⁴⁰ But ye will not come to me, that ye might haue life.

¹¹ But my people would not heare my voyce, and Israel would none of me.

⁷ Thus sayeth the Lord the redeemer of Israel, and his Holie one, to him that is despised in soule, to a nation that is abhorred, to a seruaunt of rulers, Kinges shall see, and arise, and princes shall worship, because of the Lord, that is faithfull: and ye Holy one of Israel, which hath chosen thee.

² Wherefore came I, and there was no man? I called, and none answered: is mine hand so shortened, that it cannot helpe? or haue I no power to deliuer? Beholde, at my rebuke I drie vp the Sea: I make the floods desert: their fish rotteth for want of water, and dieth for thirst.

¹ Who will beleeue our report? and to whom is the arme of the Lord reueiled? ² But hee shall growe vp before him as a branche, and as a roote out of a dry grounde: he hath neither forme nor beautie: when we shall see him, there shall be no forme that wee should desire him. ³ He is despised and reiected of men: he is a man full of sorowes and hath experience of infirmities: we hidde as it were our faces from him: he was despised and we esteemed him not.

³ And sent foorth his seruants, to call them that were bidde to the wedding, but they woulde not come.

³⁷ Hierusalem, Hierusalem, which killest the Prophets, and stonest them which are sent to thee, how often would I haue gathered thy children together, as the henne gathereth her chickins vnder her wings, and ye would not!

¹¹ He came vnto his owne, and his owne receiued him not.

¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that that light came into the worlde, and men loued darknesse rather then that light, because their deedes were euill.

⁴⁴ How can ye beleeue, which receiue honour one of another, and seeke not the honour that commeth of God alone?

²⁷ Labour not for ye meate which perisheth, but for the meate that endureth vnto euerlasting life, which the Sonne of man shall giue vnto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

³⁷ All that the Father giueth me, shall come to mee: and him that commeth to me, I cast not away.

⁴⁰ And this is the will of him that sent mee, that euery man which seeth the Sonne, and beleeueth in him, should haue euerlasting life: and I will raise him vp at the last day.

⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered him, Master, to whome shall we goe? thou hast the wordes of eternall life: ⁶⁹ And we beleeue and knowe that thou art that Christ that Sonne of the liuing God.

³⁷ Nowe in the last and great day of the feast, Iesus stoode and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come vnto me, and drinke. ³⁸ Hee that beleeueth in mee, as saith the Scripture, out of his bellie shall flowe riuers of water of life.

⁴⁵ And because I tell you the trueth, yee beleeue me not. ⁴⁶ Which of you can rebuke me of sinne? and if I say the trueth, why do ye not beleeue me?

²⁵ Iesus saide vnto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that beleeueth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he liue. ²⁶ And whosoeuer liueth, and beleeueth in me, shall neuer die: Beleeuest thou this?

³⁷ And though he had done so many miracles before them, yet beleeued they not on him, ³⁸ That the saying of Esaias the Prophete might be fulfilled, that he sayd, Lord, who beleeued our report? and to whome is the arme of the Lord reueiled? ³⁹ Therefore could they not beleeue, because that Esaias saith againe, ⁴⁰ He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart, that they shoulde not see with their eyes, nor vnderstand with their heart, and should be conuerted, and I should heale them. ⁴¹ These things sayd Esaias when he sawe his glory, and spake of him.

²³ For the wages of sinne is death: but the gift of God is eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord.

¹¹ And this is that record, to wit, that God hath giuen vnto vs eternall life, and this life is in that his Sonne. ¹² He that hath that Sonne, hath that life: and he that hath not that Sonne of God, hath not that life. ¹³ These things haue I written vnto you, that beleeue in the Name of that Sonne of God, that ye may knowe that ye haue eternall life, and that ye may beleeue in the Name of that Sonne of God.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth, say, Come: and let him that is a thirst, come: and let whosoeuer will, take of the water of life freely.
