²⁰ For the Father loueth the Sonne, and sheweth him all things, whatsoeuer he himselfe doeth, and he will shewe him greater workes then these, that ye should marueile.

²² The Lord hath possessed me in the beginning of his way: I was before his workes of olde. ²³ I was set vp from euerlasting, from the beginning and before the earth. ²⁴ When there were no depths, was I begotten, when there were no fountaines abounding with water. ²⁵ Before the mountaines were setled: and before the hilles, was I begotten. ²⁶ He had not yet made the earth, nor the open places, nor the height of the dust in the worlde. ²⁷ When hee prepared the heauens, I was there, when he set the compasse vpon the deepe. ²⁸ When he established the cloudes aboue, when he confirmed the fountaines of the deepe, ²⁹ When he gaue his decree to the Sea, that the waters shoulde not passe his commandement: when he appointed the foundations of the earth, ³⁰ Then was I with him as a nourisher, and I was dayly his delight reioycing alway before him, ³¹ And tooke my solace in the compasse of his earth: and my delite is with the children of men.

¹⁷ And loe, a voyce came from heauen, saying, This is my beloued Sonne, in whome I am well pleased.

²⁷ All things are giuen vnto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Sonne, but ye Father: neither knoweth any man ye Father, but the Sonne, and he to whom ye Sonne will reueile him.

⁵ While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloude shadowed them: and beholde, there came a voyce out of the cloude, saying, This is that my beloued Sonne, in whom I am well pleased: heare him.

²² All things are giuen me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Sonne is, but the Father: neither who the Father is, saue the Sonne, and he to whom the Sonne will reueile him.

¹⁸ No man hath seene God at any time: that onely begotten Sonne, which is in the bosome of the Father, he hath declared him.

³⁵ The Father loueth the Sonne, and hath giuen all things into his hande.

²¹ For likewise as the Father rayseth vp the dead, and quickeneth them, so the Sonne quickeneth whom he will.

²⁵ Verely, verely I say vnto you, the houre shall come, and now is, when the dead shall heare the voyce of the Sonne of God: and they that heare it, shall liue.

²⁹ And they shall come foorth, that haue done good, vnto ye resurrection of life: but they that haue done euil, vnto the resurrection of condemnation.

³² Iesus answered them, Many good workes haue I shewed you from my Father: for which of these workes doe ye stone me?

⁴⁵ And he that seeth me, seeth him that sent me. ⁴⁶ I am come a light into the world, that whosoeuer beleeueth in me, should not abide in darkenes. ⁴⁷ And if any man heare my wordes, and beleeue not, I iudge him not: for I came not to iudge the world, but to saue the world.

¹² Verely, verely I say vnto you, he that beleeueth in me, the workes that I doe, hee shall doe also, and greater then these shall he doe: for I goe vnto my Father.

¹⁵ Henceforth call I you not seruants: for the seruant knoweth not what his master doeth: but I haue called you friends: for all things that I haue heard of my Father, haue I made knowen to you.

²⁶ And I haue declared vnto the thy Name, and will declare it, that the loue wherewith thou hast loued me, may be in them, and I in them.

¹⁷ For he receiued of God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voyce to him from that excellent glory, This is my beloued Sonne, in whom I am well pleased.
