¹ And the thirde day, was there a mariage in Cana a towne of Galile, and the mother of Iesus was there.

²⁷ Thus God created the man in his image: in the image of God created he him: he created them male and female. ²⁸ And God blessed them, and God said to them, Bring forth fruite and multiplie, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer euery beast that moueth vpon the earth.

¹⁸ Also the Lord God saide, It is not good that the man should be himself alone: I wil make him an helpe meete for him. ¹⁹ So the Lord God formed of the earth euery beast of the fielde, and euery foule of the heauen, and brought them vnto the man to see howe he would call them: for howsoeuer the man named the liuing creature, so was the name thereof. ²⁰ The man therefore gaue names vnto all cattell, and to the foule of the heauen, and to euery beast of the fielde: but for Adam founde he not an helpe meete for him. ²¹ Therefore the Lord God caused an heauie sleepe to fall vpon the man, and he slept: and he tooke one of his ribbes, and closed vp the flesh in steade thereof. ²² And the ribbe which the Lord God had taken from the man, made he a woman, and brought her to the man. ²³ Then the man said, This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She shalbe called woman, because she was taken out of man. ²⁴ Therefore shall man leaue his father and his mother, and shall cleaue to his wife, and they shall be one flesh. ²⁵ And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

²⁸ And to Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, vnto great Zidon.

¹ A song of degrees. Blessed is euery one that feareth the Lord and walketh in his wayes. ² When thou eatest the labours of thine hands, thou shalt be blessed, and it shall be well with thee. ³ Thy wife shalbe as the fruitfull vine on the sides of thine house, and thy children like the oliue plantes round about thy table. ⁴ Lo, surely thus shall the man be blessed, that feareth the Lord.

²² He that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing, and receiueth fauour of the Lord.

¹⁴ House and riches are the inheritance of the fathers: but a prudent wife commeth of the Lord.

¹⁰ Who shall finde a vertuous woman? for her price is farre aboue the pearles. ¹¹ The heart of her husband trusteth in her, and he shall haue no neede of spoyle. ¹² She will doe him good, and not euill all the dayes of her life.

⁴⁶ While he yet spake to ye multitude, beholde, his mother, and his brethren stood without, desiring to speake with him.

²⁹ The next day Iohn, seeth Iesus comming vnto him, and saith, Beholde that Lambe of God, which taketh away the sinne of the world.

³⁵ The next day, Iohn stoode againe, and two of his disciples.

⁴³ The day following, Iesus woulde goe into Galile, and founde Philip, and said vnto him, Followe me.

⁴⁶ And Iesus came againe into Cana a towne of Galile, where he had made of water, wine. And there was a certaine ruler, whose sonne was sicke at Capernaum.

² There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas, which is called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galile, and the sonnes of Zebedeus, and two other of his disciples.

³⁰ For we are members of his bodie, of his flesh, and of his bones. ³¹ For this cause shall a man leaue father and mother, and shall cleaue to his wife, and they twaine shalbe one flesh. ³² This is a great secrete, but I speake concerning Christ, and concerning the Church. ³³ Therefore euery one of you, doe ye so: let euery one loue his wife, euen as himselfe, and let the wife see that shee feare her husband.

¹ Now the Spirit speaketh euidently, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, and shall giue heede vnto spirits of errour, and doctrines of deuils, ² Which speake lies through hypocrisie, and haue their cosciences burned with an hote yron, ³ Forbidding to marrie, and commanding to abstaine from meates which God hath created to be receiued with giuing thankes of them which beleeue and knowe the trueth.

⁴ Mariage is honorable among all, and the bed vndefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will iudge.
