¹⁴ If I then your Lord, and Master, haue washed your feete, ye also ought to wash one an others feete.

²⁶ But it shall not be so among you: but whosoeuer will be great among you, let him be your seruant. ²⁷ And whosoeuer will be chiefe among you, let him be your seruant. ²⁸ Euen as the Sonne of man came not to be serued, but to serue, and to giue his life for the ransome of many.

⁴³ But it shall not be so among you: but whosoeuer will be great among you, shall be your seruant. ⁴⁴ And whosoeuer will be chiefe of you, shall be the seruant of all. ⁴⁵ For euen the Sonne of man came not to be serued, but to serue, and to giue his life for the raunsome of many.

²⁶ But yee shall not be so: but let the greatest among you be as the least: and the chiefest as he that serueth. ²⁷ For who is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serueth? Is not he that sitteth at table? And I am among you as he that serueth.

³⁵ I haue shewed you all things, howe that so labouring, ye ought to support the weake, and to remember the wordes of the Lord Iesus, howe that hee saide, It is a blessed thing to giue, rather then to receiue.

¹⁰ Be affectioned to loue one another with brotherly loue. In giuing honour, goe one before another,

¹⁶ Be of like affection one towardes another: be not hie minded: but make your selues equall to them of the lower sort: be not wise in your selues.

¹ We which are strong, ought to beare the infirmities of the weake, and not to please our selues. ² Therefore let euery man please his neighbour in that that is good to edification. ³ For Christ also would not please himselfe, but as it is written, The rebukes of them which rebuke thee, fell on me.

¹³ Wherefore if meate offende my brother, I wil eate no flesh while the world standeth, that I may not offend my brother.

¹⁹ For though I bee free from all men, yet haue I made my selfe seruant vnto all men, that I might winne the moe. ²⁰ And vnto the Iewes, I become as a Iewe, that I may winne the Iewes: to them that are vnder the Lawe, as though I were vnder the Lawe, that I may winne them that are vnder the Lawe: ²¹ To them that are without Lawe, as though I were without Lawe, (when I am not without Lawe as pertaining to God, but am in the Lawe through Christ) that I may winne them that are without Lawe: ²² To the weake I become as weake, that I may winne the weake: I am made all thinges to all men, that I might by all meanes saue some.

⁹ For ye knowe the grace of our Lord Iesus Christ, that hee being rich, for your sakes became poore, that yee through his pouertie might be made rich.

¹ Nowe I Paul my selfe beseech you by the meekenes, and gentlenes of Christ, which when I am present among you am base, but am bolde toward you being absent:

¹³ For brethren, ye haue bene called vnto libertie: onely vse not your libertie as an occasion vnto the flesh, but by loue serue one another.

¹ Brethren, if a man be suddenly taken in any offence, ye which are spirituall, restore such one with the spirit of meekenes, considering thy selfe, least thou also be tempted. ² Beare ye one anothers burden, and so fulfill the Lawe of Christ.

² Fulfill my ioye, that ye be like minded, hauing the same loue, being of one accorde, and of one iudgement, ³ That nothing be done through contention or vaine glory, but that in meekenesse of minde euery man esteeme other better then himselfe. ⁴ Looke not euery man on his owne things, but euery man also on the things of other men. ⁵ Let the same minde be in you that was euen in Christ Iesus, ⁶ Who being in ye forme of God, thought it no robberie to be equall with God: ⁷ But he made himself of no reputation, and tooke on him ye forme of a seruant, and was made like vnto men, and was founde in shape as a man. ⁸ He humbled himselfe, and became obedient vnto the death, euen the death of the Crosse.

⁸ And though he were ye Sonne, yet learned he obedience, by the things which he suffered. ⁹ And being consecrate, was made the authour of eternall saluation vnto all them that obey him:

² Looking vnto Iesus the authour and finisher of our faith, who for the ioy that was set before him, endured the crosse, and despised the shame, and is set at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹ Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for vs in the flesh, arme your selues likewise with the same minde, which is, that he which hath suffered in the flesh, hath ceased from sinne,

⁵ Likewise ye yonger, submit your selues vnto the elders, and submit your selues euery man, one to another: decke your selues inwardly in lowlinesse of minde: for God resisteth the proude, and giueth grace to the humble.
