⁴ Thy wordes haue confirmed him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the weake knees.

¹⁴ The Lord vpholdeth all that fall, and lifteth vp all that are ready to fall.

¹⁸ There is that speaketh wordes like the prickings of a sworde: but the tongue of wise men is health.

²³ The heart of the wise guideth his mouth wisely, and addeth doctrine to his lippes. ²⁴ Faire wordes are as an hony combe, sweetenesse to the soule, and health to the bones.

³ Strengthen the weake handes, and comfort the feeble knees. ⁴ Say vnto them that are fearefull, Bee you strong, feare not: beholde, your God commeth with vengeance: euen God with a recompense, he will come and saue you.

⁶ Then the Kings countenance was changed, and his thoughtes troubled him, so that the ioynts of his loynes were loosed, and his knees smote one against the other.

⁷ So that nowe contrariwise yee ought rather to forgiue him, and comfort him, lest the same shoulde bee swalowed vp with ouermuch heauinesse.

⁶ But God, that comforteth the abiect, comforted vs at the comming of Titus:

¹⁴ We desire you, brethren, admonish them that are out of order: comfort ye feeble minded: beare with the weake: be pacient toward all men.
