²⁹ Who can know the diuisions of ye clouds and the thunders of his tabernacle?

⁴⁴ And at the seuenth time he sayd, Behold, there ariseth a litle cloude out of the sea like a mans hand. Then he sayd, Vp, and say vnto Ahab, Make readie thy charet, and get thee downe, that the raine stay thee not. ⁴⁵ And in the meane while the heauen was blacke with cloudes and winde, and there was a great rayne. Then Ahab went vp and came to Izreel.

¹⁴ Loe, these are part of his wayes: but how litle a portion heare we of him? and who can vnderstand his fearefull power?

² Heare the sound of his voyce, and the noyse that goeth out of his mouth. ³ He directeth it vnder the whole heauen, and his light vnto the endes of the world. ⁴ After it a noyse soundeth: hee thundereth with the voyce of his maiestie, and hee will not stay them when his voyce is heard. ⁵ God thundereth marueilously with his voyce: he worketh great things, which we know not.

¹⁶ Hast thou knowen the varietie of the cloude, and the wonderous workes of him, that is perfite in knowledge?

⁹ When I made the cloudes as a couering thereof, and darkenesse as the swadeling bands thereof:

³⁷ Who can nomber cloudes by wisedome? or who can cause to cease the bottels of heaue,

¹³ The Lord also thundred in the heauen, and the Highest gaue his voyce, haylestones and coales of fire.

³ The voyce of the Lord is vpon the waters: the God of glorie maketh it to thunder: the Lord is vpon the great waters. ⁴ The voyce of the Lord is mightie: the voyce of the Lord is glorious. ⁵ The voyce of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. ⁶ He maketh them also to leape like a calfe: Lebanon also and Shirion like a yong vnicorne. ⁷ The voice of the Lord deuideth the flames of sire. ⁸ The voice of the Lord maketh the wildernes to tremble: the Lord maketh the wildernes of Kadesh to tremble. ⁹ The voice of the Lord maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forests: therefore in his Temple doth euery man speake of his glory. ¹⁰ The Lord sitteth vpon the flood, and the Lord doeth remaine King for euer.

¹⁶ The waters sawe thee, O God: the waters sawe thee, and were afraide: yea, the depths trembled. ¹⁷ The cloudes powred out water: the heauens gaue a sounde: yea, thine arrowes went abroade. ¹⁸ The voyce of thy thunder was rounde about: the lightnings lightened the worlde: the earth trembled and shooke. ¹⁹ Thy way is in the Sea, and thy paths in the great waters, and thy footesteps are not knowen.

³ Which layeth the beames of his chambers in the waters, and maketh the cloudes his chariot, and walketh vpon the wings of the winde.

⁷ But at thy rebuke they flee: at the voyce of thy thunder they haste away.

³ The Lord is slow to anger, but he is great in power, and will not surely cleare the wicked: the Lord hath his way in ye whirlewind, and in the storme, and the cloudes are the dust of his feete.

¹⁰ The mountaines sawe thee, and they trembled: the streame of the water passed by: the deepe made a noyse, and lift vp his hand on hie.
