²⁶ He shall pray vnto God, and he will be fauourable vnto him, and he shall see his face with ioy: for he will render vnto man his righteousnes.

²⁵ The Lord make his face shine vpon thee, and be merciful vnto thee, ²⁶ The Lord lift vp his coutenance vpon thee, and giue thee peace.

²³ And let the Lord rewarde euery man according to his righteousnesse and faithfulnesse: for the Lord had deliuered thee into mine handes this day, but I woulde not lay mine hand vpon the Lords anointed.

² Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying, ³ I beseech thee, O Lord, remember nowe, howe I haue walked before thee in trueth and with a perfite heart, and haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore. ⁴ And afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle of the court, the worde of the Lord came to him, saying, ⁵ Turne againe, and tell Hezekiah the captaine of my people, Thus saith the Lord God of Dauid thy father, I haue heard thy prayer, and seene thy teares: behold, I haue healed thee, and ye third day thou shalt go vp to ye house of ye Lord,

¹² And when he was in tribulation, he prayed to the Lord his God, and humbled him selfe greatly before the God of his fathers, ¹³ And prayed vnto him: and God was entreated of him, and heard his prayer, and brought him againe to Ierusalem into his kingdome: then Manasseh knewe that the Lord was God.

¹⁹ And his prayer and how God was intreated of him, and all his sinne, and his trespasse, and the places wherein he built hie places, and set groues and images (before he was humbled) behold, they are written in the booke of the Seers.

²⁶ And thou shalt then delite in the Almightie, and lift vp thy face vnto God. ²⁷ Thou shalt make thy praier vnto him, and he shall heare thee, and thou shalt render thy vowes.

¹¹ For he will render vnto man according to his worke, and cause euery one to finde according to his way.

²⁸ So that they haue caused the voyce of the poore to come vnto him, and he hath heard the cry of the afflicted.

⁶ Many say, Who will shewe vs any good? but Lord, lift vp the light of thy countenance vpon vs. ⁷ Thou hast giuen mee more ioye of heart, then they haue had, when their wheate and their wine did abound.

O lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chastise me in thy wrath. ² Haue mercie vpon me, O Lord, for I am weake: O Lord heale me, for my bones are vexed. ³ My soule is also sore troubled: but Lord how long wilt thou delay? ⁴ Returne, O Lord: deliuer my soule: saue me for thy mercies sake. ⁵ For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the graue who shall prayse thee? ⁶ I fainted in my mourning: I cause my bed euery night to swimme, and water my couch with my teares. ⁷ Mine eye is dimmed for despight, and sunke in because of all mine enemies. ⁸ Away from mee all ye workers of iniquitie: for the Lord hath heard the voyce of my weeping. ⁹ The Lord hath heard my petition: the Lord will receiue my prayer.

¹¹ Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is the fulnesse of ioy: and at thy right hand there are pleasures for euermore.

²⁰ The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousnes: according to the purenes of mine hands he recompensed me:

¹ A Psalme of David. Unto thee, O Lord, doe I crie: O my strength, be not deafe toward mee, lest, if thou answere me not, I be like them that goe downe into the pit. ² Heare the voyce of my petitions, when I crie vnto thee, when I holde vp mine handes towarde thine holy Oracle.

⁶ Praised be the Lord, for he hath heard the voyce of my petitions.

⁵ For he endureth but a while in his anger: but in his fauour is life: weeping may abide at euening, but ioy commeth in the morning.

⁷ For thou Lord of thy goodnes hadest made my mountaine to stande strong: but thou didest hide thy face, and I was troubled. ⁸ Then cried I vnto thee, O Lord, and praied to my Lord. ⁹ What profite is there in my blood, when I go downe to the pit? shall the dust giue thankes vnto thee? or shall it declare thy trueth? ¹⁰ Heare, O Lord, and haue mercy vpon me: Lord, be thou mine helper. ¹¹ Thou hast turned my mourning into ioy: thou hast loosed my sacke and girded mee with gladnesse.

⁸ A mischiefe is light vpon him, and he that lyeth, shall no more rise. ⁹ Yea, my familiar friend, whom I trusted, which did eate of my bread, hath lifted vp the heele against me. ¹⁰ Therefore, O Lord, haue mercy vpon mee, and raise me vp: so I shall reward them. ¹¹ By this I know that thou fauourest me, because mine enemie doth not triumph against me.

¹⁵ And call vpon me in the day of trouble: so will I deliuer thee, and thou shalt glorifie me.

¹² And to thee, O Lord, mercie: for thou rewardest euery one according to his worke.

¹⁵ He shall call vpon me, and I wil heare him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliuer him, and glorifie him.

¹ I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voyce and my prayers. ² For he hath inclined his eare vnto me, whe I did call vpon him in my dayes. ³ When the snares of death copassed me, and the griefes of the graue caught me: when I founde trouble and sorowe. ⁴ Then I called vpon the Name of the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, deliuer my soule. ⁵ The Lord is mercifull and righteous, and our God is full of compassion. ⁶ The Lord preserueth the simple: I was in miserie and he saued me.

¹² If thou say, Beholde, we knew not of it: he that pondereth the heartes, doeth not hee vnderstand it? and hee that keepeth thy soule, knoweth he it not? will not he also recompense euery man according to his workes?

¹⁹ Surely a people shall dwell in Zion, and in Ierusalem: thou shalt weepe no more: he wil certainly haue mercy vpon thee at the voyce of thy crye: when he heareth thee, he wil answere thee.

³ Call vnto me, and I will answere thee, and shewe thee great and mightie things, which thou knowest not.

² And said, I cryed in mine affliction vnto the Lord, and he heard me: out of the bellie of hell cryed I, and thou heardest my voyce. ³ For thou haddest cast me into the bottome in the middes of the sea, and the floods compassed me about: all thy surges, and all thy waues passed ouer me. ⁴ Then I saide, I am cast away out of thy sight: yet will I looke againe towarde thine holy Temple. ⁵ The waters compassed me about vnto the soule: the depth closed me rounde about, and the weedes were wrapt about mine head. ⁶ I went downe to the bottome of the moutaines: the earth with her barres was about me for euer, yet hast thou brought vp my life from the pit, O Lord my God. ⁷ When my soule fainted within me, I remembred the Lord: and my prayer came vnto thee, into thine holy Temple.

⁴¹ Hee that receiueth a Prophet in the name of a Prophet, shall receiue a Prophetes rewarde: and hee that receiueth a righteous man, in the name of a righteous man, shall receiue the rewarde of a righteous man. ⁴² And whosoeuer shall giue vnto one of these litle ones to drinke a cuppe of colde water onely, in the name of a disciple, verely I say vnto you, he shall not lose his rewarde.

²⁸ Thou hast shewed me the waies of life, and shalt make me full of ioy with thy countenance.

¹¹ Then the Lord sayd vnto him, Arise, and goe into the streete which is called Straight, and seeke in the house of Iudas after one called Saul of Tarsus: for beholde, he prayeth.

²⁶ Esteeming the rebuke of Christ greater riches then the treasures of Egypt: for he had respect vnto the recompence of the reward.

²⁴ Nowe vnto him that is able to keepe you, that ye fall not, and to present you faultlesse before the presence of his glorie with ioy,
