¹⁵ Golde shall not be giuen for it, neyther shall siluer be weighed for the price thereof.

¹⁸ No mention shall be made of coral, nor of the gabish: for wisedome is more precious then pearles.

¹³ Blessed is the man that findeth wisedome, and the man that getteth vnderstanding. ¹⁴ For the marchandise thereof is better then the marchandise of siluer, and the gaine thereof is better then golde. ¹⁵ It is more precious then pearles: and all things that thou canst desire, are not to be compared vnto her.

¹⁰ Receiue mine instruction, and not siluer, and knowledge rather then fine golde. ¹¹ For wisdome is better then precious stones: and all pleasures are not to be compared vnto her.

¹⁷ I loue them that loue me: and they that seeke me earely, shall finde me.

¹⁹ My fruite is better then golde, euen then fine golde, and my reuenues better then fine siluer.

¹⁶ Howe much better is it to get wisedome then golde? and to get vnderstanding, is more to be desired then siluer.
