⁵ Behold, others as wilde asses in the wildernesse, goe forth to their businesse, and rise early for a praye: the wildernesse giueth him and his children foode.

¹² And he shalbe a wilde man: his hande shall be against euery man, and euery mans hand against him. and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

⁴⁰ And by thy sword shalt thou liue, and shalt be thy brothers seruant. But it shall come to passe, when thou shalt get the masterie, that thou shalt breake his yoke from thy necke.

⁵ The hungrie shall eate vp his haruest: yea, they shall take it from among the thornes, and the thirstie shall drinke vp their substance.

⁶ The tabernacles of robbers doe prosper, and they are in safetie, that prouoke God, whome God hath enriched with his hand.

¹⁴ The murtherer riseth earely and killeth the poore and the needie: and in the night he is as a theefe.

⁵ Canst thou nomber the moneths that they fulfill? or knowest thou the time when they bring foorth? ⁶ They bow them selues: they bruise their yong and cast out their sorowes. ⁷ Yet their yong waxe fatte, and growe vp with corne: they goe foorth and returne not vnto them.

²³ Then goeth man forth to his worke, and to his labour vntill the euening.

¹⁶ For they can not sleepe, except they haue done euill, and their sleepe departeth except they cause some to fall.

²⁴ And as a wilde asse, vsed to the wildernesse, that snuffeth vp the winde by occasion at her pleasure: who can turne her backe? all they that seeke her, will not wearie themselues, but wil finde her in her moneth.

⁶ For they haue made ready their heart like an ouen whiles they lie in waite: their baker sleepeth all the night: in the morning it burneth as a flame of fire.

⁹ For they are gone vp to Asshur: they are as a wilde asse alone by himselfe: Ephraim hath hired louers.

¹ Woe vnto them, that imagine iniquitie, and worke wickednesse vpon their beddes: when the morning is light they practise it because their hande hath power.

³ Her princes within her are as roaring lyons: her iudges are as wolues in the euening, which leaue not the bones till the morow.
