⁵ Arise, and let vs goe vp by night, and destroy her palaces.

¹⁹ And they burnt the house of God, and brake downe the wall of Ierusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and all the precious vessels thereof, to destroy all.

³ In the palaces thereof God is knowen for a refuge.

¹⁴ Because the palace shalbe forsaken, and the noise of the citie shalbe left: the towre and fortresse shalbe dennes for euer, and the delite of wilde asses, and a pasture for flockes,

²¹ For death is come vp into our windowes, and is entred into our palaces, to destroy the children without, and the yong men in the streetes.

²⁷ But if ye will not heare me to sanctifie the Sabbath day, and not to beare a burden nor to go through the gates of Ierusalem in the Sabbath day, then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall deuoure the palaces of Ierusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

¹³ And burnt the House of the Lord, and the Kings house, and all the houses of Ierusalem, and all the great houses burnt he with fire.

¹⁴ For Israel hath forgotten his maker, and buildeth Temples, and Iudah hath increased strong cities: but I will sende a fire vpon his cities, and it shall deuoure the palaces thereof.

⁵ Therefore will I send a fire vpon Iudah, and it shall deuoure the palaces of Ierusalem.

¹⁰ For they knowe not to doe right, sayth the Lord: they store vp violence, and robbery in their palaces. ¹¹ Therefore thus saith the Lord God, An aduersary shall come euen rounde about the countrey, and shall bring downe thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shalbe spoyled.

¹ Open thy doores, O Lebanon, and the fire shall deuoure thy cedars.
