¹⁶ Hee giueth by his voyce the multitude of waters in the heauen, and he causeth the cloudes to ascend from the endes of the earth: he turneth lightnings to raine, and bringeth forth the winde out of his treasures.

¹ Now God remembred Noah and euery beast, and all the cattell that was with him in the Arke: therefore God made a winde to passe vpon the earth, and the waters ceased.

¹³ Then Moses stretched foorth his rod vpon the lande of Egypt: and the Lord brought an East winde vpon the land all that day, and al that night: and in the morning the East wind brought the grashoppers.

² Heare the sound of his voyce, and the noyse that goeth out of his mouth. ³ He directeth it vnder the whole heauen, and his light vnto the endes of the world. ⁴ After it a noyse soundeth: hee thundereth with the voyce of his maiestie, and hee will not stay them when his voyce is heard. ⁵ God thundereth marueilously with his voyce: he worketh great things, which we know not. ⁶ For he sayth to the snowe, Be thou vpon the earth: likewise to the small rayne and to the great rayne of his power. ⁷ With the force thereof he shutteth vp euery man, that all men may knowe his worke. ⁸ Then the beastes go into the denne, and remaine in their places. ⁹ The whirlewind commeth out of the South, and the colde from the North winde. ¹⁰ At the breath of God the frost is giuen, and the breadth of the waters is made narrowe. ¹¹ He maketh also the cloudes to labour, to water the earth, and scattereth the cloude of his light.

¹³ Whether it be for punishment, or for his lande, or of mercie, he causeth it to come.

²² Hast thou entred into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seene the treasures of ye haile,

³⁴ Canst thou lift vp thy voice to the cloudes that the aboundance of water may couer thee? ³⁵ Canst thou sende the lightenings that they may walke, and say vnto thee, Loe, heere we are? ³⁶ Who hath put wisedome in the reines? or who hath giuen the heart vnderstanding? ³⁷ Who can nomber cloudes by wisedome? or who can cause to cease the bottels of heaue, ³⁸ When the earth groweth into hardnesse, and the clottes are fast together?

⁹ Then will I confesse vnto thee also, that thy right hand can saue thee.

¹³ The Lord also thundred in the heauen, and the Highest gaue his voyce, haylestones and coales of fire.

³ The voyce of the Lord is vpon the waters: the God of glorie maketh it to thunder: the Lord is vpon the great waters. ⁴ The voyce of the Lord is mightie: the voyce of the Lord is glorious. ⁵ The voyce of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. ⁶ He maketh them also to leape like a calfe: Lebanon also and Shirion like a yong vnicorne. ⁷ The voice of the Lord deuideth the flames of sire. ⁸ The voice of the Lord maketh the wildernes to tremble: the Lord maketh the wildernes of Kadesh to tremble. ⁹ The voice of the Lord maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forests: therefore in his Temple doth euery man speake of his glory. ¹⁰ The Lord sitteth vpon the flood, and the Lord doeth remaine King for euer.

⁶ When the nations raged, and the kingdomes were moued, God thundred, and the earth melted.

³³ To him that rideth vpon ye most high heauens, which were from the beginning: beholde, he will send out by his voice a mightie sound.

²⁶ He caused the Eastwinde to passe in the heauen, and through his power he brought in the Southwinde.

⁷ But at thy rebuke they flee: at the voyce of thy thunder they haste away.

⁷ He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.

⁴ But the Lord sent out a great winde into the sea, and there was a mightie tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

⁸ And when the sunne did arise, God prepared also a feruent East winde: and the sunne beat vpon the head of Ionah, that he fainted, and wished in his heart to die, and said, It is better for me to dye, then to liue.

²⁶ And he said vnto them, Why are ye fearefull, O ye of litle faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea: and so there was a great calme. ²⁷ And the men marueiled, saying, What man is this, that both the windes and the sea obey him!
