⁴ Therefore will I chuse out their delusions, and I will bring their feare vpon them, because I called, and none woulde answere: I spake and they woulde not heare: but they did euill in my sight, and chose the things which I would not.

¹⁹ Againe he said, Heare thou therefore the worde of the Lord. I sawe the Lord sit on his throne, and all the hoste of heauen stood about him on his right hand and on his left hand. ²⁰ And the Lord sayd, Who shall entise Ahab that he may go and fall at Ramoth Gilead? And one said on this maner, and another sayd on that maner. ²¹ Then there came forth a spirit, and stoode before the Lord, and sayd, I wil entise him. And the Lord sayd vnto him, Wherewith? ²² And he sayd, I will goe out, and be a false spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. Then he sayd, Thou shalt entise him, and shalt also preuayle: goe forth, and doe so. ²³ Now therefore behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirite in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath appoynted euill against thee.

² And he did euill in the sight of the Lord after the abomination of the heathen, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.

⁶ And he caused his sonnes to passe through the fire, and gaue him selfe to witchcraft and sorcerie, and he vsed them that had familiar spirits and were soothsayers, and did much euill in the sight of the Lord to anger him.

¹² So I gaue them vp vnto the hardnesse of their heart, and they haue walked in their owne cousels.

²⁴ Because I haue called, and ye refused: I haue stretched out mine hand, and none woulde regarde.

³¹ Therefore shall they eate of ye fruite of their owne way, and be filled with their owne deuises. ³² For ease slaieth the foolish, and the prosperitie of fooles destroyeth them.

²⁴ That which the wicked feareth, shall come vpon him: but God wil graunt the desire of the righteous.

² Wherefore came I, and there was no man? I called, and none answered: is mine hand so shortened, that it cannot helpe? or haue I no power to deliuer? Beholde, at my rebuke I drie vp the Sea: I make the floods desert: their fish rotteth for want of water, and dieth for thirst.

³ A people that prouoked me euer vnto my face: that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense vpon brickes.

¹² Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shall bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.

¹³ Therefore nowe because yee haue done all these woorkes, sayeth the Lord, (and I rose vp earely and spake vnto you: but when I spake, yee would not heare me, neither when I called, would yee answere).

² The kingdome of heauen is like vnto a certaine King which maried his sonne, ³ And sent foorth his seruants, to call them that were bidde to the wedding, but they woulde not come. ⁴ Againe hee sent foorth other seruants, saying. Tell them which are bidden, Beholde, I haue prepared my dinner: mine oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all thinges are readie: come vnto the mariage. ⁵ But they made light of it, and went their wayes, one to his farme, and another about his marchandise. ⁶ And the remnant tooke his seruants, and intreated them sharpely, and slewe them. ⁷ But when the King heard it, he was wroth, and sent foorth his warriers, and destroyed those murtherers, and burnt vp their citie.

²⁴ For there shall arise false Christes, and false prophets, and shall shewe great signes and wonders, so that if it were possible, they should deceiue the very elect.

¹⁰ And in al deceiuablenes of vnrighteousnes, among them that perish, because they receiued not the loue of the trueth, that they might be saued. ¹¹ And therefore God shall send them strong delusion, that they should beleeue lies, ¹² That all they might be damned which beleeued not the trueth, but had pleasure in vnrighteousnes.
