¹⁰ For it became him, for whome are all these thinges, and by whome are all these things, seeing that hee brought many children vnto glory, that he should consecrate the Prince of their saluation through afflictions.

²⁵ Be it farre from thee from doing this thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be euen as the wicked, be it farre from thee. shall not the Iudge of all the worlde doe right?

¹⁴ And he said, Nay, but as a captaine of the host of the Lord am I nowe come: then Ioshua fel on his face to the earth, and did worship, and saide vnto him, What sayth my Lord vnto his seruant? ¹⁵ And the captaine of ye Lords host said vnto Ioshua, Loose thy shoe of thy foote: for ye place wheron thou standest, is holy: and Ioshua did so.

⁴ The Lord hath made all things for his owne sake: yea, euen the wicked for the day of euill.

²¹ This people haue I formed for my selfe: they shall shewe foorth my praise.

⁴ Beholde, I gaue him for a witnes to the people, for a prince and a master vnto the people.

¹⁰ Yet though they haue hired among the nations, nowe will I gather them, and they shall sorowe a litle, for the burden of the King and the princes.

¹³ The breaker vp shall come vp before them: they shall breake out, and passe by the gate, and goe out by it, and their King shall goe before them, and the Lord shalbe vpon their heades. ¹⁴ Glory be to God in the high heauens, and peace in earth, and towards men good will.

³² Then said he vnto them, Goe ye and tell that foxe, Beholde, I cast out deuils, and will heale still to day, and to morowe, and the third day I shalbe perfected.

²⁶ Ought not Christ to haue suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

⁴⁶ And said vnto them, Thus is it written, and thus it behoued Christ to suffer, and to rise againe from the dead the third day,

⁵² And not for that nation onely, but that he shoulde gather together in one the children of God, which were scattered.

³⁰ Nowe when Iesus had receiued of the vineger, he saide, It is finished, and bowed his head, and gaue vp the ghost.

¹⁵ And killed the Lord of life, whome God hath raised from the dead, whereof we are witnesses.

³¹ Him hath God lift vp with his right hand, to be a Prince and a Sauiour, to giue repentance to Israel, and forgiuenes of sinnes.

²⁵ Whom God hath set forth to be a reconciliation through faith in his blood to declare his righteousnes, by the forgiuenesse of the sinnes that are passed, ²⁶ Through the patience of God, to shewe at this time his righteousnesse, that hee might be iust, and a iustifier of him which is of the faith of Iesus.

¹⁴ For as many as are ledde by the Spirit of God, they are the sonnes of God. ¹⁵ For ye haue not receiued the Spirit of bodage, to feare againe: but ye haue receiued the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father. ¹⁶ The same Spirit beareth witnesse with our spirit, that we are the children of God. ¹⁷ If we be children, we are also heires, euen the heires of God, and heires annexed with Christ: if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him. ¹⁸ For I count that the afflictions of this present time are not worthy of the glory, which shalbe shewed vnto vs.

²⁹ For those which hee knewe before, he also predestinate to bee made like to the image of his Sonne, that hee might be the first borne among many brethren. ³⁰ Moreouer whom he predestinate, them also he called, and whom he called, them also he iustified, and whom he iustified, them he also glorified.

²³ And that hee might declare the riches of his glory vpon the vessels of mercy, which hee hath prepared vnto glory?

²⁵ As he sayth also in Osee, I will call them, My people, which were not my people: and her, Beloued, which was not beloued. ²⁶ And it shalbe in the place where it was said vnto them, Ye are not my people, that there they shalbe called, The children of the liuing God.

³⁶ For of him, and through him, and for him are all things: to him be glory for euer. Amen.

⁷ But we speake the wisedome of God in a mysterie, euen the hid wisedom, which God had determined before the world, vnto our glory.

⁶ Yet vnto vs there is but one God, which is that Father, of whome are all things, and we in him: and one Lord Iesus Christ, by whome are all things, and we by him.

¹⁸ But we al behold as in a mirrour the glory of the Lord with open face, and are changed into the same image, from glorie to glorie, as by the Spirit of the Lord.

¹⁷ For our light affliction which is but for a moment, causeth vnto vs a farre most excellent and an eternall waight of glorie:

¹⁸ And all things are of God, which hath reconciled vs vnto himselfe by Iesus Christ, and hath giuen vnto vs the ministerie of reconciliation.

¹⁸ And I will be a Father vnto you, and ye shalbe my sonnes and daughters, saith the Lord almightie.

²⁶ For ye are al the sonnes of God by faith, in Christ Iesus.

⁵ Who hath predestinate vs, to be adopted through Iesus Christ in him selfe, according to the good pleasure of his will, ⁶ To the prayse of the glory of his grace, wherewith he hath made vs freely accepted in his beloued, ⁷ By whom we haue redemption through his blood, euen the forgiuenes of sinnes, according to his rich grace: ⁸ Whereby he hath bene aboundant toward vs in all wisedome and vnderstanding,

⁷ That he might shewe in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace, through his kindnesse toward vs in Christ Iesus.

¹⁰ To the intent, that nowe vnto principalities and powers in heauenly places, might be knowen by the Church the manifolde wisedome of God,

¹⁶ For by him were all things created, which are in heauen, and which are in earth, thinges visible and inuisible: whether they be Thrones or Dominions, or Principalities, or Powers, all things were created by him, and for him, ¹⁷ And hee is before all things, and in him all things consist.

⁴ When Christ which is our life, shall appeare, then shall ye also appeare with him in glory.

¹⁰ Therefore I suffer all things, for the elects sake, that they might also obtaine the saluation which is in Christ Iesus, with eternall glorie.

⁸ And though he were ye Sonne, yet learned he obedience, by the things which he suffered. ⁹ And being consecrate, was made the authour of eternall saluation vnto all them that obey him:

²⁰ Whither the forerunner is for vs entred in, euen Iesus that is made an hie Priest for euer after the order of Melchi-sedec.

²⁶ For such an hie Priest it became vs to haue, which is holy, harmelesse, vndefiled, separate from sinners, and made hier then the heauens:

²⁸ For the Law maketh men hie Priestes, which haue infirmitie: but the word of the othe that was since the Lawe, maketh the Sonne, who is consecrated for euermore.

² Looking vnto Iesus the authour and finisher of our faith, who for the ioy that was set before him, endured the crosse, and despised the shame, and is set at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹² Vnto whome it was reueiled, that not vnto themselues, but vnto vs they shoulde minister the things, which are nowe shewed vnto you by them which haue preached vnto you the Gospell by the holy Ghost sent downe from heauen, the which things the Angels desire to beholde.

¹ The elders which are among you, I beseech which am also an elder, and a witnesse of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shalbe reueiled,

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, which hath called vs vnto his eternall glory by Christ Iesus, after that ye haue suffered a litle, make you perfite, confirme, strengthen and stablish you.

¹ Behold, what loue the Father hath giuen to vs, that we should be called the sonnes of God: for this cause this world knoweth you not, because it knoweth not him. ² Dearely beloued, nowe are we the sonnes of God, but yet it is not made manifest what we shall be: and we know that when he shalbe made manifest, we shalbe like him: for we shall see him as he is.

¹¹ Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receiue glory and honour, and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy wils sake they are, and haue beene created.

⁹ After these thinges I behelde, and loe a great multitude, which no man coulde number, of all nations and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stoode before the throne, and before the Lambe, clothed with long white robes, and palmes in their hands.
