¹⁶ To doe good, and to distribute forget not: for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

³ Trust thou in the Lord and do good: dwell in the land, and thou shalt be fed assuredly.

¹⁹ Then shalt thou accept ye sacrifices of righteousnes, euen the burnt offering and oblation: then shall they offer calues vpon thine altar.

⁷ Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousand riuers of oyle? shall I giue my first borne for my transgression, euen the fruite of my bodie, for the sinne of my soule? ⁸ He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good, and what the Lord requireth of thee: surely to doe iustly, and to loue mercie, and to humble thy selfe, to walke with thy God.

³⁵ For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you. ³⁶ I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me. ³⁷ Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke? ³⁸ And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee? ³⁹ Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee? ⁴⁰ And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me.

³⁵ Wherefore loue ye your enemies, and doe good, and lend, looking for nothing againe, and your rewarde shalbe great, and ye shalbe the children of the most High: for he is kinde vnto the vnkinde, and to the euill. ³⁶ Be ye therefore mercifull, as your Father also is mercifull.

²² Nowe when Iesus heard that, he saide vnto him, Yet lackest thou one thing. Sell all that euer thou hast, and distribute vnto the poore, and thou shalt haue treasure in heauen, and come follow mee.

³⁶ There was also at Ioppa a certaine woman, a disciple named Tabitha (which by interpretation is called Dorcas) she was full of good workes and almes which she did.

³⁸ To wit, howe God anointed Iesus of Nazareth with the holy Ghost, and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the deuill: for God was with him.

¹³ Distributing vnto the necessities of the Saintes: giuing your selues to hospitalitie.

¹² For the ministration of this seruice not onely supplieth the necessities of the Saintes, but also aboundantly causeth many to giue thankes to God, ¹³ (Which by the experiment of this ministration praise God for your voluntarie submission to the Gospell of Christ, and for your liberall distribution to them, and to all men)

⁶ Let him that is taught in the worde, make him that hath taught him, partaker of all his goods.

¹⁰ While we haue therefore time, let vs doe good vnto all men, but specially vnto them, which are of the housholde of faith.

²⁸ Let him that stole, steale no more: but let him rather labour, and worke with his handes the thing which is good, that hee may haue to giue vnto him that needeth.

¹⁴ Notwithstanding yee haue well done, that yee did communicate to mine affliction.

¹⁸ Now I haue receiued all, and haue plentie: I was euen filled, after that I had receiued of Epaphroditus that which came from you, an odour that smellleth sweete, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasant to God.

¹⁵ See that none recompense euil for euil vnto any man: but euer follow that which is good, both toward your selues, and toward all men.

¹³ And ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

¹⁸ That they doe good, and be riche in good woorkes, and readie to distribute, and comunicate,

⁶ That the fellowship of thy faith may bee made effectuall, and that whatsoeuer good thing is in you through Christ Iesus, may be knowen.

¹⁰ For God is not vnrighteous, that hee should forget your worke, and labour of loue, which ye shewed toward his Name, in that ye haue ministred vnto the Saints, and yet minister.

¹ Let brotherly loue continue. ² Be not forgetfull to intertaine strangers: for thereby some haue receiued Angels into their houses vnwares.

¹¹ Beloued, follow not that which is euill, but that which is good: he that doeth well, is of God: but he that doeth euill, hath not seene God.
