³⁴ When Esau heard the wordes of his father, he cryed out with a great crye and bitter, out of measure, and sayde vnto his father, Blesse me, euen me also, my father.

⁴ Then Dauid and the people that was with him, lift vp their voyces and wept, vntill they could weepe no more.

²⁴ Because I haue called, and ye refused: I haue stretched out mine hand, and none woulde regarde. ²⁵ But ye haue despised all my counsell, and would none of my correction. ²⁶ I will also laugh at your destruction, and mocke, when your feare commeth. ²⁷ Whe your feare cometh like sudden desolation, and your destruction shall come like a whirle wind: whe affliction and anguish shall come vpon you, ²⁸ Then shall they call vpon me, but I will not answere: they shall seeke me early, but they shall not finde me,

³¹ Therefore shall they eate of ye fruite of their owne way, and be filled with their owne deuises.

³ The foolishnesse of a man peruerteth his way, and his heart freateth against the Lord.

²⁴ Striue to enter in at the straite gate: for many, I say vnto you, will seeke to enter in, and shall not be able. ²⁵ When the good man of the house is risen vp, and hath shut to the doore, and ye begin to stand without, and to knocke at the doore, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs, and he shall answere and say vnto you, I know you not whence ye are, ²⁶ Then shall ye begin to say, We haue eaten and drunke in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streetes. ²⁷ But he shall say, I tell you, I knowe you not whence ye are: depart from me, all ye workers of iniquitie. ²⁸ There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when ye shall see Abraham and Isaac, and Iacob, and all the Prophets in the kingdome of God, and your selues thrust out at doores.

¹⁷ For ye knowe howe that afterwarde also when he woulde haue inherited the blessing, he was reiected: for he founde no place to repentance, though he sought that blessing with teares.
