²⁵ And they shall come at no dead person to defile theselues, except at their father, or mother, or sone, or daughter, brother or sister, that hath had yet none husband: in these may they be defiled.

¹ And the Lord said vnto Moses, Speake vnto the Priestes the sonnes of Aaron, and say vnto them, Let none be defiled by the dead among his people, ² But by his kinseman that is neere vnto him: to wit, by his mother, or by his father, or by his sonne, or by his daughter, or by his brother, ³ Or by his sister a maid, that is neere vnto him, which hath not had a husband: for her he may lament. ⁴ He shall not lament for the Prince among his people, to pollute him selfe. ⁵ They shall not make balde partes vpon their head, nor shaue off the locks of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh. ⁶ They shalbe holy vnto their God, and not pollute the name of their God: for the sacrifices of the Lord made by fire, and the bread of their God they doe offer: therefore they shalbe holie.

⁴ Whosoeuer also of the seede of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue, he shall not eate of the holy things vntill he be cleane: and who so toucheth any that is vncleane, by reason of the dead, or a man whose issue of seede runneth from him,

²¹ And another of his disciples saide vnto him, Master, suffer me first to goe, and burie my father. ²² But Iesus said vnto him, Followe me, and let the dead burie their dead.

⁵⁹ But he said vnto another, Followe me. And the same said, Lord, suffer me first to goe and burie my father. ⁶⁰ And Iesus said vnto him, Let the dead burie their dead: but go thou, and preache the kingdome of God.

¹⁶ Wherefore, henceforth know we no man after the flesh, yea though wee had knowen Christ after the flesh, yet nowe henceforth know we him no more.

¹³ I would not, brethren, haue you ignorant concerning them which are a sleepe, that ye sorow not euen as other which haue no hope. ¹⁴ For if we beleeue that Iesus is dead, and is risen, euen so them which sleepe in Iesus, will God bring with him. ¹⁵ For this say we vnto you by the worde of the Lord, that we which liue, and are remayning in the comming of the Lord, shall not preuent them which sleepe.
