¹⁰ Because thou hast said, These two nations, and these two countreys shalbe mine, and we wil possesse them (seeing the Lord was there)

¹ A song or Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praysed, in the Citie of our God, euen vpon his holy Mountaine. ² Mount Zion, lying Northwarde, is faire in situation: it is the ioy of the whole earth, and the Citie of the great King. ³ In the palaces thereof God is knowen for a refuge.

⁴ They haue said, Come and let vs cut them off from being a nation: and let the name of Israel be no more in remembrance. ⁵ For they haue consulted together in heart, and haue made a league against thee: ⁶ The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Agarims: ⁷ Gebal and Ammon, and Amalech, the Philistims with the inhabitants of Tyrus: ⁸ Asshur also is ioyned with them: they haue bene an arme to the children of Lot. Selah. ⁹ Doe thou to them as vnto the Midianites: as to Sisera and as to Iabin at the riuer of Kishon. ¹⁰ They perished at En-dor, and were dung for the earth. ¹¹ Make them, euen their princes like Oreb and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes like Zebah and like Zalmuna. ¹² Which haue said, Let vs take for our possession the habitations of God.

¹³ For the Lord hath chosen Zion, and loued to dwell in it, saying, ¹⁴ This is my rest for euer: here will I dwell, for I haue a delite therein.

⁶ Cry out, and shoute, O inhabitant of Zion: for great is ye holy one of Israel in the middes of thee.

⁹ And he shall go for feare to his towre, and his princes shall be afraide of the standart, sayeth the Lord, whose fire is in Zion, and his fornace in Ierusalem.

¹ Unto the children of Ammon thus saith the Lord, Hath Israel no sonnes? or hath he none heire? Why then hath their king possessed God? and his people dwelt in his cities?

² Thus saith the Lord God, because the enemie hath sayde against you, Aha, euen the hye places of the world are ours in possession,

⁵ Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Surely in the fire of mine indignation haue I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which haue taken my lande for their possession, with the ioy of all their heart, and with despitefull mindes to cast it out for a pray.

³⁵ It was rounde about eighteene thousande measures, and the name of the citie from that day shalbe, The Lord is there.

¹³ Thou shouldest not haue entred into the gate of my people, in the day of their destruction, neither shouldest thou haue once looked on their affliction in the day of their destruction, nor haue layde hands on their substance in the day of their destruction.

¹⁵ The Lord hath taken away thy iudgements: hee hath cast out thine enemie: the King of Israel, euen the Lord is in the middes of thee: thou shalt see no more euill.

⁵ For I, saith the Lord, will be vnto her a wall of fire round about, and wil be the glory in the middes of her.
