⁹ And when I looked vp, beholde, an hande was sent vnto me, and loe, a roule of a booke was therein.

⁹ Then the Lord stretched out his hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said vnto me, Beholde, I haue put my wordes in thy mouth.

² Take thee a roule or booke, and write therein all the wordes that I haue spoken to thee against Israel, and against Iudah, and against all the nations, from the day that I spake vnto thee, euen from the dayes of Iosiah vnto this day.

¹ Moreover he saide vnto me, Sonne of man, eate that thou findest: eate this roule, and goe, and speake vnto the house of Israel.

³ And he stretched out the likenes of an had, and tooke me by an hearie locke of mine head, and the Spirit lift me vp betweene the earth, and the heauen, and brought mee by a Diuine vision to Ierusalem, into the entry of ye inner gate that lieth toward the North, where remained the idole of indignation, which prouoked indignation.

⁵ At the same houre appeared fingers of a mans hand, which wrote ouer against the candlesticke vpon the plaister of the wall of ye Kings palace, and the King sawe the palme of the hand that wrote.

¹⁰ And behold, an hand touched me, which set me vp vpon my knees and vpon the palmes of mine hands.

¹⁶ And beholde, one like the similitude of the sonnes of man touched my lippes: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said vnto him that stoode before me, O my Lord, by the vision my sorowes are returned vpon me, and I haue reteined no strength. ¹⁷ For howe can the seruant of this my Lord talke with my Lord being such one? for as for me, straight way there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. ¹⁸ Then there came againe, and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

⁷ Then I sayd, Lo, I come (In the beginning of the booke it is written of me) that I should doe thy will, O God.

¹ And I saw in the right hand of him that sate vpon the throne, a Booke written within, and on the backside, sealed with seuen seales. ² And I sawe a strong Angell which preached with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open ye booke, and to loose the seales thereof? ³ And no man in heauen, nor in earth, neither vnder the earth, was able to open the Booke, neither to looke thereon. ⁴ Then I wept much, because no man was foud worthy to open, and to reade the Booke, neither to looke thereon. ⁵ And one of the Elders saide vnto me, Weepe not: beholde, that Lion which is of the tribe of Iuda, that roote of Dauid, hath obteined to open the Booke, and to loose the seuen seales thereof.

⁸ And the voyce which I heard from heauen, spake vnto me againe, and said, Go and take the litle booke which is open in the hand of the Angel, which standeth vpon the sea and vpon the earth. ⁹ So I went vnto the Angel, and saide to him, Giue me the litle booke. And he said vnto me, Take it, and eate it vp, and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shalbe in thy mouth as sweete as honie. ¹⁰ Then I tooke the litle booke out of ye Angels hand, and ate it vp, and it was in my mouth as sweete as hony: but whe I had eaten it my belly was bitter. ¹¹ And he said vnto me, Thou must prophecie againe among the people and nations, and tongues, and to many Kings.
