¹¹ Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the assaultes of the deuil.

²² For false Christes shall rise, and false prophets, and shall shewe signes and wonders, to deceiue if it were possible the very elect.

²⁹ Lest that after he hath laide the foundation, and is not able to performe it, all that behold it, begin to mocke him, ³⁰ Saying, This man began to builde, and was not able to make an end? ³¹ Or what King going to make warre against another King, sitteth not downe first, and taketh counsell, whether he be able with ten thousande, to meete him that commeth against him with twentie thousand?

¹² The night is past, and the day is at hande, let vs therefore cast away the workes of darkenesse, and let vs put on the armour of light,

¹⁴ But put yee on the Lord JESUS CHRIST, and take no thought for the flesh, to fulfill the lustes of it.

¹³ There hath no tentation taken you, but such as appertaine to man: and God is faithfull, which will not suffer you to be tempted aboue that you be able, but wil euen giue the issue with the tentation, that ye may be able to beare it.

¹¹ Lest Satan should circumuent vs: for we are not ignorant of his enterprises.

⁴ In whom the God of this world hath blinded the mindes, that is, of the infidels, that the light of the glorious Gospell of Christ, which is the image of God, should not shine vnto them.

⁷ By the worde of trueth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousnesse on the right hand, and on the left,

⁴ (For the weapons of our warrefare are not carnall, but mightie through God, to cast downe holdes)

³ But I feare least as the serpent beguiled Eue through his subtiltie, so your mindes shoulde be corrupt from the simplicitie that is in Christ.

¹³ For such false apostles are deceitfull workers, and transforme themselues into the Apostles of Christ. ¹⁴ And no marueile: for Satan himselfe is transformed into an Angel of light. ¹⁵ Therefore it is no great thing, though his ministers transforme themselues, as though they were the ministers of righteousnes, whose end shall be according to their workes.

¹⁴ That we henceforth be no more children, wauering and caried about with euery winde of doctrine, by the deceit of men, and with craftines, whereby they lay in wait to deceiue.

²⁴ And put on ye new man, which after God is created vnto righteousnes, and true holines.

¹³ For this cause take vnto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the euill day, and hauing finished all things, stand fast.

¹⁰ And haue put on the newe, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him,

⁸ But let vs which are of the day, be sober, putting on the brest plate of faith and loue, and of the hope of saluation for an helmet.

⁹ Euen him whose comming is by the effectuall working of Satan, with all power, and signes, and lying wonders, ¹⁰ And in al deceiuablenes of vnrighteousnes, among them that perish, because they receiued not the loue of the trueth, that they might be saued. ¹¹ And therefore God shall send them strong delusion, that they should beleeue lies,

²⁵ Wherefore, hee is able also perfectly to saue them that come vnto God by him, seeing he euer liueth, to make intercession for them.

⁸ Be sober, and watch: for your aduersarie the deuil as a roaring lyon walketh about, seeking whom he may deuoure:

¹ Bvt there were false prophets also among the people, euen as there shalbe false teachers among you: which priuily shall bring in damnable heresies, euen denying the Lord, that hath bought them, and bring vpon themselues swift damnation. ² And many shall follow their destructions, by whom the way of trueth shalbe euil spoken of, ³ And through couetousnes shall they with fained words make marchandise of you, whose condemnation long since resteth not, and their destruction slumbreth not.

²⁴ Nowe vnto him that is able to keepe you, that ye fall not, and to present you faultlesse before the presence of his glorie with ioy,

²⁴ And vnto you I say, the rest of them of Thyatira, As many as haue not this learning, neither haue knowen the deepenes of Satan (as they speake) I will put vpon you none other burden.

⁹ And the great dragon, that olde serpent, called the deuil and Satan, was cast out, which deceiueth all the world: he was euen cast into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹¹ And I beheld another beast comming vp out of the earth, which had two hornes like the Lambe, but he spake like the dragon. ¹² And he did all that the first beast could doe before him, and he caused the earth, and them which dwell therein, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³ And he did great wonders, so that hee made fire to come downe from heauen on the earth, in the sight of men, ¹⁴ And deceiued them that dwell on the earth by the signes, which were permitted to him to doe in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make the image of the beast, which had the wound of a sword, and did liue. ¹⁵ And it was permitted to him to giue a spirit vnto the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast should speake, and should cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast, should be killed.

²⁰ But ye beast was taken, and with him that false prophet that wrought miracles before him, whereby he deceiued them that receiued ye beastes marke, and them that worshipped his image. These both were aliue cast into a lake of fire, burning with brimstone.

² And he tooke the dragon that olde serpent, which is the deuill and Satan, and he bounde him a thousand yeeres: ³ And cast him into the bottomles pit, and he shut him vp, and sealed the doore vpon him, that he should deceiue the people no more, till the thousand yeeres were fulfilled: for after that he must be loosed for a litle season.

⁷ And when the thousand yeres are expired, Satan shalbe loosed out of his prison, ⁸ And shall go out to deceiue the people, which are in the foure quarters of the earth: euen Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battell, whose number is, as the sand of the sea.
