² My doctrine shall drop as the raine, and my speach shall stil as the dew, as the showre vpon the herbes, and as the great raine vpon the grasse.

⁴ Euen as the morning light when the sunne riseth, the morning, I say, without cloudes, so shall mine house be, and not as the grasse of the earth is by the bright raine.

²² After my wordes they replied not, and my talke dropped vpon them. ²³ And they wayted for me, as for the raine, and they opened their mouth as for the latter rayne.

⁶ He shall come downe like the rayne vpon the mowen grasse, and as the showres that water the earth.

¹⁰ Surely as the raine commeth downe and the snow from heauen, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth and maketh it to bring forth and bud, that it may giue seede to the sower, and bread vnto him that eateth, ¹¹ So shall my worde be, that goeth out of my mouth: it shall not returne vnto me voyde, but it shall accomplish that which I will, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

⁴ O Ephraim, what shall I doe vnto thee? O Iudah, how shall I intreate thee? for your goodnesse is as a morning cloude, and as the morning dewe it goeth away.

⁵ I wil heale their rebellion: I wil loue them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

⁷ And the remnant of Iaakob shalbe among many people, as a dewe from the Lord, and as the showres vpon the grasse, that waiteth not for man, nor hopeth in the sonnes of Adam.

¹ Aske you of the Lord raine in the time of the latter raine: so shall the Lord make white cloudes, and giue you showers of raine, and to euery one grasse in the field.

⁶ I haue planted, Apollos watred, but God gaue the increase. ⁷ So then, neither is hee that planteth any thing, neither hee that watreth, but God that giueth the increase. ⁸ And he that planteth, and he that watreth, are one, and euery man shall receiue his wages, according to his labour.

⁷ For the earth which drinketh in the raine that commeth oft vpon it, and bringeth foorth herbes meete for them by whome it is dressed, receiueth blessing of God.
