¹² So the Lord alone led him, and there was no strange god with him.

³¹ And in the wildernesse, where thou hast seene how the Lord thy God bare thee, as a man doeth beare his sonne, in all the way which ye haue gone, vntill ye came vnto this place.

³⁹ Behold now, for I, I am he, and there is no gods with me: I kill, and giue life: I wound, and I make whole: neither is there any that can deliuer out of mine hand.

¹² And leddest them in the day with a pillar of a cloude, and in the night with a pillar of fire to giue them light in the way that they went.

¹¹ Teache mee thy way, O Lord, and leade me in a right path, because of mine enemies.

¹⁴ In the day time also hee led them with a cloude, and all the night with a light of fire.

⁵² But hee made his people to goe out like sheepe, and led them in the wildernes like a flocke. ⁵³ Yea, he caried them out safely, and they feared not, and the Sea couered their enemies.

¹¹ I, euen I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Sauiour. ¹² I haue declared, and I haue saued, and I haue shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore you are my witnesses, sayeth the Lord, that I am God.

⁷ And who is like me, that shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order before me, since I appointed the ancient people? and what is at hand, and what things are to come? let them shewe vnto them. ⁸ Feare ye not, neither be afraide: haue not I tolde thee of olde, and haue declared it? you are euen my witnesses, whether there be a God beside me, and that there is no God that I knowe not.

⁴ Therefore vnto olde age, I the same, euen I will beare you vntill the hoare heares: I haue made you: I will also beare you, and I will cary you and I will deliuer you.

⁹ In all their troubles he was troubled, and the Angel of his presence saued them: in his loue and in his mercie he redeemed them, and he bare them and caried them alwayes continually. ¹⁰ But they rebelled and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore was hee turned to be their enemie and he fought against them. ¹¹ Then he remembred the olde time of Moses and his people, saying, Where is hee that brought them vp out of the Sea with the shepheard of his sheepe? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him? ¹² He led them by the right hand of Moses with his owne glorious arme, deuiding the water before them, to make himselfe an euerlasting Name. ¹³ Hee led them through the deepe, as an horse in the wildernesse, that they should not stumble,
