⁹ (Nowe God had brought Daniel into fauour, and tender loue with the chiefe of the Eunuches)

²⁸ Then said he, Thy name shalbe called Iaakob no more, but Israel: because thou hast had power with God, thou shalt also preuaile with men.

²¹ But the Lord was with Ioseph, and shewed him mercie, and got him fauour in the sight of the master of the prison.

⁵⁰ And be mercifull vnto thy people that haue sinned against thee, and vnto all their iniquities (wherein they haue transgressed against thee) and cause that they, which led them away captiues, may haue pitie and compassion on them:

²⁷ Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, which so hath put in the Kings heart, to beautifie the house of the Lord that is in Ierusalem, ²⁸ And hath enclined mercy toward me, before the King and his counsellers, and before all the Kings mightie Princes: and I was comforted by the hand of the Lord my God which was vpon me, and I gathered the chiefe of Israel to goe vp with me.

¹¹ O Lord, I beseech thee, let thine eare now hearken to the prayer of thy seruant, and to the prayer of thy seruants, who desire to feare thy Name, and I pray thee, cause thy seruant to prosper this day, and giue him fauour in the presence of this man: for I was the Kings butler.

⁴ And the King said vnto me, For what thing doest thou require? Then I prayed to the God of heauen,

³ For be ye sure that the Lord hath chosen to himselfe a godly man: the Lord will heare when I call vnto him.

⁴⁶ And gaue them fauour in the sight of all them that lead them captiues.

⁷ When the wayes of a man please the Lord, he will make also his enemies at peace with him.

¹⁰ And deliuered him out of all his afflictions, and gaue him fauour and wisdome in the sight of Pharao King of Egypt, who made him gouernour ouer Egypt, and ouer his whole house.
