¹² Now therfore as the elect of God holy and beloued, put on the bowels of mercies, kindnesse, humblenesse of minde, meekenesse, long suffering:

¹ Behold, my seruaunt: I will stay vpon him: mine elect, in whom my soule deliteth: I haue put my Spirit vpon him: he shall bring forth iudgement to the Gentiles.

⁴ For Iaakob my seruants sake, and Israel mine elect, I will euen call thee by thy name and name thee, though thou hast not knowen me.

¹⁵ Looke downe from heauen, and beholde from the dwelling place of thine holines, and of thy glory. Where is thy zeale and thy strength, the multitude of thy mercies, and of thy compassions? they are restrained from me.

⁹ But I will bring a seede out of Iaakob, and out of Iudah, that shall inherit my mountaine: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my seruants shall dwell there.

²² They shall not build, and another inhabite: they shall not plant, and another eate: for as the dayes of the tree are the dayes of my people, and mine elect shall inioye in olde age the worke of their handes.

³ The Lord hath appeared vnto me of old, say they: Yea, I haue loued thee with an euerlasting loue, therefore with mercie I haue drawen thee.

²⁰ Is Ephraim my deare sonne or pleasant childe? yet since I spake vnto him, I still remembred him: therefore my bowels are troubled for him: I wil surely haue compassion vpon him, saith the Lord.

⁸ Nowe when I passed by thee, and looked vpon thee, beholde, thy time was as the time of loue, and I spred my skirtes ouer thee, and couered thy filthines: yea, I sware vnto thee, and entred into a couenant with thee, saith the Lord God, and thou becamest mine.

²² And except those dayes should be shortened, there should no flesh be saued: but for the elects sake those dayes shalbe shortened.

²⁴ For there shall arise false Christes, and false prophets, and shall shewe great signes and wonders, so that if it were possible, they should deceiue the very elect.

³¹ And he shall send his Angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect, from the foure windes, and from the one ende of the heauens vnto the other.

²⁰ And except that the Lord had shortened those dayes, no flesh shoulde be saued: but for the elects sake, which he hath chosen, he hath shortened those dayes.

²² For false Christes shall rise, and false prophets, and shall shewe signes and wonders, to deceiue if it were possible the very elect.

²⁷ And he shall then send his Angels, and shall gather together his elect from the foure windes, and from the vtmost part of the earth to the vtmost part of heauen.

⁷⁸ Through ye tender mercy of our God, wherby the day spring from an hie hath visited vs,

⁷ Now shall not God auenge his elect, which cry day and night vnto him, yea, though he suffer long for them?

⁷ To all you that be at Rome beloued of God, called to be Saints: Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.

²⁹ For those which hee knewe before, he also predestinate to bee made like to the image of his Sonne, that hee might be the first borne among many brethren. ³⁰ Moreouer whom he predestinate, them also he called, and whom he called, them also he iustified, and whom he iustified, them he also glorified. ³¹ What shall we then say to these thinges? If God be on our side, who can be against vs? ³² Who spared not his owne Sonne, but gaue him for vs all to death, how shall he not with him giue vs all things also? ³³ Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Gods chosen? it is God that iustifieth,

¹¹ For yer the children were borne, and when they had neither done good, nor euill (that the purpose of God might remaine according to election, not by workes, but by him that calleth)

⁵ Euen so then at this present time is there a remnant according to the election of grace. ⁶ And if it be of grace, it is no more of workes: or els were grace no more grace: but if it be of workes, it is no more grace: or els were worke no more worke. ⁷ What then? Israel hath not obtained that he sought: but the election hath obteined it, and the rest haue bene hardened,

⁹ Let loue be without dissimulation. Abhorre that which is euill, and cleaue vnto that which is good. ¹⁰ Be affectioned to loue one another with brotherly loue. In giuing honour, goe one before another,

⁶ By watchings, by fastings, by puritie, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindnesse, by the holy Ghost, by loue vnfained,

⁶ For in Iesus Christ neither circumcision auaileth any thing, neither vncircumcision, but faith which worketh by loue.

²² But the fruite of the Spirit is loue, ioye, peace, long suffering, gentlenes, goodnes, fayth, ²³ Meekenesse, temperancie: against such there is no lawe.

⁴ As hee hath chosen vs in him, before the foundation of the worlde, that we should be holy, and without blame before him in loue:

⁴ But God which is rich in mercie, through his great loue wherewith he loued vs, ⁵ Euen when we were dead by sinnes, hath quickened vs together in Christ, by whose grace ye are saued,

² With all humblenesse of minde, and meekenesse, with long suffering, supporting one an other through loue,

²⁴ And put on ye new man, which after God is created vnto righteousnes, and true holines.

³² Be ye courteous one to another, and tender hearted, freely forgiuing one another, euen as God for Christes sake, freely forgaue you.

⁸ For God is my recorde, howe I long after you all from the very heart roote in Iesus Christ.

¹ If there be therfore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of loue, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any compassion and mercie, ² Fulfill my ioye, that ye be like minded, hauing the same loue, being of one accorde, and of one iudgement, ³ That nothing be done through contention or vaine glory, but that in meekenesse of minde euery man esteeme other better then himselfe. ⁴ Looke not euery man on his owne things, but euery man also on the things of other men.

¹⁰ And haue put on the newe, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him,

³ Without ceasing, remembring your effectuall faith, and diligent loue, and the patience of your hope in our Lord Iesus Christ, in the sight of God euen our Father, ⁴ Knowing, beloued brethren, that ye are elect of God. ⁵ For our Gospell was not vnto you in worde only, but also in power, and in the holy Ghost, and in much assurance, as ye know after what maner we were among you for your sakes. ⁶ And ye became followers of vs, and of the Lord, and receiued the worde in much affliction, with ioy of the holy Ghost,

¹⁵ See that none recompense euil for euil vnto any man: but euer follow that which is good, both toward your selues, and toward all men.

¹³ But we ought to giue thankes alway to God for you, brethren beloued of the Lord, because that God hath from the beginning chosen you to saluation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and the faith of trueth, ¹⁴ Whereunto he called you by our Gospel, to obtaine the glory of our Lord Iesus Christ.

⁹ Who hath saued vs, and called vs with an holy calling, not according to our workes, but according to his owne purpose and grace, which was giuen to vs through Christ Iesus before the world was,

¹⁰ Therefore I suffer all things, for the elects sake, that they might also obtaine the saluation which is in Christ Iesus, with eternall glorie.

¹ Paul a seruaunt of God, and an Apostle of Iesus Christ, according to the faith of Gods elect, and the acknowledging of the trueth, which is according vnto godlines,

⁴ But when that bountifulnesse and that loue of God our Sauiour toward man appeared, ⁵ Not by the woorkes of righteousnesse, which we had done, but according to his mercie he saued vs, by the washing of the newe birth, and the renewing of the holy Ghost, ⁶ Which he shed on vs aboundantly, through Iesus Christ our Sauiour,

¹⁷ But the wisedome that is from aboue, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easie to be intreated, full of mercie and good fruites, without iudging, and without hipocrisie. ¹⁸ And the fruite of righteousnesse is sowen in peace, of them that make peace.

² Elect according to the foreknowledge of God ye Father vnto sanctification of ye Spirit, through obedience and sprinkeling of the blood of Iesus Christ: Grace and peace bee multiplied vnto you.

⁸ Finally, be ye all of one minde: one suffer with another: loue as brethren: bee pitifull: bee courteous, ⁹ Not rendring euil for euill, neither rebuke for rebuke: but contrarywise blesse, knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should be heires of blessing. ¹⁰ For if any man long after life, and to see good dayes, let him refraine his tongue from euill, and his lippes that they speake no guile. ¹¹ Let him eschew euil, and do good: let him seeke peace, and follow after it.

⁵ Therefore giue euen all diligence thereunto: ioyne moreouer vertue with your faith: and with vertue, knowledge: ⁶ And with knowledge, temperance: and with temperance, patience: and with patience, godlines: ⁷ And with godlines, brotherly kindnes: and with brotherly kindnes, loue. ⁸ For if these things be among you, and abound, they will make you that ye neither shalbe idle, nor vnfruitfull in the acknowledging of our Lord Iesus Christ:

¹⁰ Wherefore, brethren, giue rather diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye doe these things, ye shall neuer fall.

¹⁴ We know that we are translated from death vnto life, because we loue the brethren: he that loueth not his brother, abideth in death. ¹⁵ Whosoeuer hateth his brother, is a manslayer: and ye know that no manslayer hath eternall life abiding in him. ¹⁶ Hereby haue we perceiued loue, that he layde downe his life for vs: therefore we ought also to lay downe our liues for the brethren. ¹⁷ And whosoeuer hath this worlds good, and seeth his brother haue neede, and shutteth vp his compassion from him, howe dwelleth the loue of God in him? ¹⁸ My litle children, let vs not loue in worde, neither in tongue onely, but in deede and in trueth. ¹⁹ For thereby we know that we are of the trueth, and shall before him assure our hearts. ²⁰ For if our heart condemne vs, God is greater then our heart, and knoweth all things.

¹⁹ We loue him, because he loued vs first.

¹⁴ These shall fight with the Lambe, and the Lambe shall ouercome them: for he is Lord of Lordes, and King of Kings: and they that are on his side, called, and chosen, and faithfull.
