⁵ For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, reioycing and beholding your order, and your stedfast faith in Christ.

¹⁸ Whe she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, she left speaking vnto her.

³ For I verely as absent in bodie, but present in spirit, haue determined already as though I were present, that he that hath thus done this thing, ⁴ When ye are gathered together, and my spirit, in the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that such one, I say, by the power of our Lord Iesus Christ,

³⁴ And if any man be hungry, let him eate at home, that ye come not together vnto condemnation. Other things will I set in order when I come.

⁴⁰ Let all things be done honestly, and by order.

⁵⁸ Therefore my beloued brethren, be ye stedfast, vnmoueable, aboundant alwayes in the worke of the Lord, forasmuch as ye knowe that your labour is not in vaine in the Lord.

¹³ Watch ye: stand fast in the faith: quite you like men, and be strong.

¹ For I woulde ye knewe what great fighting I haue for your sakes, and for them of Laodicea, and for as many as haue not seene my person in the flesh,

¹⁷ For asmuch, brethren, as we were kept from you for a season, concerning sight, but not in the heart, we enforced the more to see your face with great desire.

⁸ For nowe are wee aliue, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

¹⁴ For we are made partakers of Christ, if we keepe sure vnto the ende that beginning, wherewith we are vpholden,

¹⁹ Which hope we haue, as an ancre of the soule, both sure and stedfast, and it entreth into that which is within the vaile,

⁹ Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren which are in the world.

¹⁷ Ye therefore beloued, seeing ye know these thinges before, beware, lest ye be also plucked away with the errour of the wicked, and fall from your owne stedfastnesse. ¹⁸ But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ: to him be glory both now and for euermore. Amen.
