³ And though they hide them selues in the toppe of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence: and though they be hid from my sight in the bottome of the sea, thence will I commande the serpent, and he shall bite them.

²² There is no darkenesse nor shadowe of death, that the workers of iniquitie might be hid therein.

⁹ Let mee take the winges of the morning, and dwell in the vttermost parts of the sea: ¹⁰ Yet thither shall thine hand leade me, and thy right hand holde me. ¹¹ If I say, Yet the darkenes shall hide me, euen the night shalbe light about me.

¹ In that day the Lord with his sore and great and mightie sword shall visite Liuiathan, that pearcing serpent, euen Liuiathan, that crooked serpent, and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

²³ Am I a God at hande, saith the Lord, and not a God farre off? ²⁴ Can any hide him selfe in secrete places, that I shall not see him, sayth the Lord? Do not I fill heauen and earth, saieth the Lord?
