⁹ And all the people sawe him walke, and praysing God.

¹¹ I say vnto thee, Arise and take vp thy bed, and get thee hence into thine owne house. ¹² And by and by he arose, and tooke vp his bed, and went foorth before them all, in so much that they were all amased, and glorified God, saying, We neuer sawe such a thing.

¹⁷ And when he said these things, all his aduersaries were ashamed: but all the people reioyced at all the excellent things, that were done by him.

¹⁶ Saying, What shall we doe to these men? for surely a manifest signe is done by them, and it is openly knowen to all them that dwell in Hierusalem: and we cannot denie it.

²¹ So they threatened them, and let them goe, and found nothing how to punish them, because of the people: for all men praised God for that which was done.

¹¹ Then when the people sawe what Paul had done, they lift vp their voyces, saying in ye speach of Lycaonia, Gods are come downe to vs in the likenesse of men.
