¹¹ Creetes, and Arabians: wee hearde them speake in our owne tongues the wonderful works of God.

¹¹ Who is like vnto thee, O Lord, among the Gods! who is like thee so glorious in holinesse, fearefull in prayses, doing wonders!

¹⁵ Besides that he had of marchant men and of the marchandises of them that solde spices, and of all the Kinges of Arabia, and of the princes of the countrey.

⁷ And God helped him against ye Philistims, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gur-baal and Hammeunim.

¹⁰ He doeth great things, and vnsearcheable: yea, marueilous things without nomber.

⁷ That I may declare with the voyce of thankesgiuing, and set foorth all thy wonderous woorkes.

⁵ O Lord my God, thou hast made thy wonderfull workes so many, that none can count in order to thee thy thoughts toward vs: I would declare, and speake of them, but they are moe then I am able to expresse.

¹⁷ O God, thou hast taught me from my youth euen vntill nowe: therefore will I tell of thy wonderous workes,

¹¹ I remembred the workes of the Lord: certainely I remembred thy wonders of olde.

⁴ Wee will not hide them from their children but to the generation to come we wil shewe the praises of the Lord his power also, and his wonderful woorkes that he hath done:

⁵ O Lord, euen the heauens shall prayse thy wonderous worke: yea, thy trueth in the Congregation of the Saints.

³ Declare his glory among all nations, and his wonders among all people.

⁸ Let them therefore confesse before ye Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderfull woorkes before the sonnes of men.

⁴ He hath made his wonderfull workes to be had in remembrance: the Lord is mercifull and full of compassion.

⁴ Which onely doeth great wonders: for his mercie endureth for euer:

²⁰ It shall not bee inhabited for euer, neither shall it be dwelled in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch his tents there, neither shall the shepheardes make their foldes there.

¹³ The burden against Arabia. In the forest of Arabia shall yee tarie all night, euen in the waies of Dedanim.

¹ O Lord, thou art my God: I will exalt thee, I will prayse thy Name: for thou hast done wonderfull things, according to the counsels of old, with a stable trueth.

²⁹ This also commeth from the Lord of hostes, which is wonderfull in counsell, and excellent in workes.

² Saw a dreame, which made me afraide, and the thoughtes vpon my bed, and the visions of mine head troubled me. ³ Therefore made I a decree, that they should bring all the wise men of Babel before mee, that they might declare vnto me the interpretation of the dreame.

⁷ And when we had sayled slowly many dayes, and scarce were come against Gnidum, because the winde suffered vs not, we sailed hard by Candie, neere to Salmone,

¹² And because the hauen was not commodious to winter in, many tooke counsell to depart thence, if by any meanes they might attaine to Phenice, there to winter, which is an hauen of Candie, and lyeth toward the Southwest and by West, and Northwest and by West.

¹⁰ And to another the operations of great workes: and to another, prophecie: and to another, the discerning of spirits: and to another, diuersities of tongues: and to another, the interpretation of tongues.

²⁸ And God hath ordained some in the Church: as first Apostles, secondly Prophetes, thirdly teachers, then them that doe miracles: after that, the giftes of healing, helpers, gouernours, diuersitie of tongues.

¹⁷ Neither came I againe to Hierusalem to them which were Apostles before me, but I went into Arabia, and turned againe vnto Damascus.

²⁵ (For Agar or Sina is a mountaine in Arabia, and it answereth to Hierusalem which nowe is) and she is in bondage with her children.

⁵ For this cause left I thee in Creta, that thou shouldest continue to redresse the thinges that remaine, and shouldest ordeine Elders in euery citie, as I appointed thee,
