²⁴ Forasmuch as we haue heard, that certaine which went out from vs, haue troubled you with wordes, and cumbred your mindes, saying, Ye must be circumcised and keepe the Lawe: to whom we gaue no such commandement,

¹⁶ Thus sayth ye Lord of hosts, Heare not the wordes of the prophets that prophecie vnto you, and teach you vanitie: they speake the vision of their owne heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.

¹ Then came downe certaine from Iudea, and taught the brethren, saying, Except ye be circumcised after the maner of Moses, ye cannot be saued.

⁹ And he put no difference betweene vs and them, after that by faith he had purified their heartes. ¹⁰ Nowe therefore, why tempt ye God, to lay a yoke on the disciples neckes, which neither our fathers, nor we were able to beare?

⁷ Which is not another Gospel, saue that there be some which trouble you, and intend to peruert the Gospel of Christ.

³ But neither yet Titus which was with me, though he were a Grecian, was compelled to be circumcised, ⁴ To wit, for the false brethren which were craftily sent in, and crept in priuily to spie out our libertie, which we haue in Christ Iesus, that they might bring vs into bondage.

⁴ Ye are abolished from Christ: whosoeuer are iustified by the Law, ye are fallen from grace.

¹⁰ I haue trust in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but hee that troubleth you, shall beare his condemnation, whosoeuer he be.

¹² Would to God they were euen cut off, which doe disquiet you.

¹² As many as desire to make a faire shewe in the flesh, they constraine you to be circumcised, onely because they would not suffer persecution for the crosse of Christ. ¹³ For they themselues which are circumcised keepe not the law, but desire to haue you circumcised, that they might reioyce in your flesh.

¹⁴ Of these things put them in remembrance, and protest before the Lord, that they striue not about wordes, which is to no profit, but to the peruerting of the hearers.

¹⁰ For there are many disobedient and vaine talkers and deceiuers of mindes, chiefly they of the Circumcision, ¹¹ Whose mouthes must bee stopped, which subuert whole houses, teaching things, which they ought not, for filthie lucres sake.

¹⁹ They went out from vs, but they were not of vs: for if they had bene of vs, they should haue continued with vs. But this cometh to passe, that it might appeare, that they are not all of vs.
