¹ Nowe the Apostles and the brethren that were in Iudea, heard, that the Gentiles had also receiued the worde of God.

¹⁰ The scepter shall not depart from Iudah, nor a Lawegiuer from betweene his feete, vntill Shiloh come, and the people shall be gathered vnto him.

²⁷ All the endes of the worlde shall remember themselues, and turne to the Lord: and all the kinreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

¹ Sing vnto the Lord a newe song: sing vnto the Lord, all the earth. ² Sing vnto the Lord, and prayse his Name: declare his saluation from day to day. ³ Declare his glory among all nations, and his wonders among all people. ⁴ For the Lord is great and much to be praysed: he is to be feared aboue all gods. ⁵ For all the gods of the people are idoles: but the Lord made the heauens. ⁶ Strength and glory are before him: power and beautie are in his Sanctuarie. ⁷ Giue vnto the Lord, ye families of the people: giue vnto the Lord glory and power. ⁸ Giue vnto the Lord the glory of his Name: bring an offering, and enter into his courtes. ⁹ Worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie: tremble before him all the earth. ¹⁰ Say among the nations, The Lord reigneth: surely the world shalbe stable, and not moue, and he shall iudge the people in righteousnesse.

¹⁰ And in that day the roote of Ishai, which shall stand vp for a signe vnto the people, the nations shall seeke vnto it, and his rest shall be glorious.

¹⁵ Vntill the Spirit be powred vpon vs from aboue, and the wildernes become a fruitfull fielde, and the plenteous fielde be counted as a forest.

¹ The desert and the wildernes shall reioyce: and the waste ground shalbe glad and florish as the rose. ² It shall florish abundantly and shall greatly reioyce also and ioye: the glory of Lebanon shalbe giuen vnto it: the beautie of Carmel, and of Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellencie of our God.

¹ Behold, my seruaunt: I will stay vpon him: mine elect, in whom my soule deliteth: I haue put my Spirit vpon him: he shall bring forth iudgement to the Gentiles.

⁶ I the Lord haue called thee in righteousnesse, and will hold thine hand, and I will keepe thee, and giue thee for a couenant of the people, and for a light of the Gentiles,

⁶ And hee sayde, It is a small thing that thou shouldest be my seruaunt, to raise vp the tribes of Iaakob, and to restore the desolations of Israel: I will also giue thee for a light of the Gentiles, that thou maiest bee my saluation vnto the ende of the worlde.

¹⁰ The Lord hath made bare his holy arme in the sight of all the Gentiles, and all the endes of the earth shall see the saluation of our God.

³ And the Gentiles shall walke in thy light, and Kings at the brightnesse of thy rising vp.

² And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousnesse, and all Kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

¹⁹ O Lord, thou art my force, and my strength and my refuge in the day of affliction: the Gentiles shall come vnto thee from the ends of the world, and shall say, Surely our fathers haue inherited lies, and vanitie, wherein was no profite.

²³ And I will sowe her vnto me in the earth, and I will haue mercie vpon her, that was not pitied, and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people. And they shall say, Thou art my God.

¹¹ In that day will I raise vp the tabernacle of Dauid, that is fallen downe, and close vp the breaches therof, and I will rayse vp his ruines, and I will builde it, as in the dayes of olde, ¹² That they may possesse the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, because my Name is called vpon them, sayeth the Lord, that doeth this.

⁷ And the remnant of Iaakob shalbe among many people, as a dewe from the Lord, and as the showres vpon the grasse, that waiteth not for man, nor hopeth in the sonnes of Adam.

¹¹ The Lord will be terrible vnto them: for he wil consume all the gods of the earth, and euery man shall worship him from his place, euen all the yles of the heathen.

⁹ Surely then will I turne to the people a pure language, that they may all call vpon the Name of the Lord, to serue him with one cosent.

¹¹ And many nations shall be ioyned to the Lord in that day, and shalbe my people: and I will dwell in the middes of thee, and thou shalt knowe that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto thee.

²⁰ Thus saith the Lord of hostes, That there shall yet come people, and the inhabitants of great cities. ²¹ And they that dwell in one citie, shall go to another, saying, Vp, let vs go and pray before the Lord, and seeke the Lord of hostes: I wil go also. ²² Yea, great people and mightie nations shall come to seeke the Lord of hostes in Ierusalem, and to pray before the Lord. ²³ Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, In those dayes shall ten men take holde out of all languages of the nations, euen take holde of the skirt of him that is a Iewe, and say, We will go with you: for we haue heard that God is with you.

¹¹ For from the rising of the sunne vnto the going downe of the same, my Name is great among the Gentiles, and in euery place incense shalbe offred vnto my Name, and a pure offering: for my Name is great among the heathen, sayeth the Lord of hostes.

¹¹ But I say vnto you, that many shall come from the East and West, and shall sit downe with Abraham, and Isaac, and Iacob, in the kingdome of heauen.

⁵ So they went into the sepulchre, and saw a yong man sitting at the right side, clothed in a long white robe: and they were sore troubled.

³² A light to be reueiled to the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

¹⁴ Nowe when the Apostles, which were at Hierusalem, heard say, that Samaria had receiued the worde of God, they sent vnto them Peter and Iohn. ¹⁵ Which whe they were come downe, prayed for them, that they might receiue the holy Ghost.

³⁴ Then Peter opened his mouth, and sayd, Of a trueth I perceiue, that God is no accepter of persons. ³⁵ But in euery nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousnesse, is accepted with him. ³⁶ Ye know the worde which God hath sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace by Iesus Christ, which is Lord of all: ³⁷ Euen the worde which came through all Iudea, beginning in Galile, after the baptisme which Iohn preached. ³⁸ To wit, howe God anointed Iesus of Nazareth with the holy Ghost, and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the deuill: for God was with him.

²⁷ And when they were come and had gathered the Church together, they rehearsed all the things that God had done by them, and howe he had opened the doore of faith vnto the Gentiles.

³ Thus being brought forth by ye Church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conuersion of the Gentiles, and they brought great ioy vnto all the brethren.

⁷ Wherefore receiue ye one another, as Christ also receiued vs to the glory of God. ⁸ Nowe I say, that Iesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision, for the trueth of God, to confirme the promises made vnto the fathers. ⁹ And let the Gentiles prayse God, for his mercie, as it is written, For this cause I wil confesse thee among the Gentiles, and sing vnto thy Name. ¹⁰ And againe he saith, Reioyce, ye Gentiles with his people. ¹¹ And againe, Prayse the Lord, all ye Gentiles, and laude ye him, all people together. ¹² And againe Esaias sayth, There shall be a roote of Iesse, and hee that shall rise to reigne ouer the Gentiles, in him shall the Gentiles trust.

¹⁷ Neither came I againe to Hierusalem to them which were Apostles before me, but I went into Arabia, and turned againe vnto Damascus. ¹⁸ Then after three yeeres I came againe to Hierusalem to visite Peter, and abode with him fifteene dayes. ¹⁹ And none other of the Apostles sawe I, saue Iames the Lords brother. ²⁰ Nowe the things which I write vnto you, beholde, I witnes before God, that I lie not. ²¹ After that, I went into the coastes of Syria and Cilicia: for I was vnknowen by face vnto the Churches of Iudea, which were in Christ. ²² But they had heard onely some say, Hee which persecuted vs in time past, nowe preacheth the faith which before he destroyed.
