¹ Then Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah perceyued, that the Kings heart was toward Absalom,

¹⁸ And there were three sonnes of Zeruiah there, Ioab, and Abishai, and Asahel. And Asahel was as light on foote as a wilde roe.

³⁹ And King Dauid desired to go forth vnto Absalom, because he was pacified concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead.
