³ I speake it not to your condemnation: for I haue said before, that ye are in our hearts, to die and liue together.

¹⁶ And Ruth answered, Intreate mee not to leaue thee, nor to depart from thee: for whither thou goest, I will goe: and where thou dwellest, I will dwell: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. ¹⁷ Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried. the Lord do so to me and more also, if ought but death depart thee and me.

¹⁴ I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloued children I admonish you. ¹⁵ For though ye haue tenne thousand instructours in Christ, yet haue ye not many fathers: for in Christ Iesus I haue begotten you through the Gospel.

⁴ For in great affliction, and anguish of heart I wrote vnto you with many teares: not that yee should be made sorie, but that ye might perceiue the loue which I haue, specially vnto you. ⁵ And if any hath caused sorowe, the same hath not made mee sorie, but partly (lest I should more charge him) you all.

² Yee are our epistle, written in our hearts, which is vnderstand, and read of all men,

¹¹ O Corinthians, our mouth is open vnto you: our heart is made large. ¹² Ye are not kept strait in vs, but ye are kept strait in your owne bowels.

¹² Wherefore, though I wrote vnto you, I did not it for his cause that had done the wrong, neither for his cause that had the iniurie, but that our care toward you in the sight of God might appeare vnto you.

¹¹ Wherefore? because I loue you not? God knoweth.

¹⁵ And I will most gladly bestow, and will be bestowed for your soules: though the more I loue you, the lesse I am loued.

¹⁰ Therefore write I these thinges being absent, least when I am present, I should vse sharpenesse, according to the power which the Lord hath giuen mee, to edification, and not to destruction.

⁸ For God is my recorde, howe I long after you all from the very heart roote in Iesus Christ. ⁹ And this I pray, that your loue may abound, yet more and more in knowledge, and in all iudgement,

⁸ Thus being affectioned toward you, our good will was to haue dealt vnto you, not the Gospel of God onely, but also our owne soules, because ye were deare vnto vs.
