¹¹ And behold, Amariah the Priest shalbe the chiefe ouer you in all matters of the Lord, and Zebadiah ye sonne of Ishmael, a ruler of the house of Iudah, shalbe for al the Kings affaires, and the Leuites shalbe officers before you. Bee of courage, and doe it, and the Lord shalbe with the good.

⁶ Be strong and of a good courage: for vnto this people shalt thou deuide the lande for an inheritance, which I sware vnto their fathers to giue them.

⁹ Haue not I commanded thee, saying, Be strong and of a good courage, feare not, nor be discouraged? for I the Lord thy God will be with thee, whithersoeuer thou goest.

¹¹ And Azariah begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,

¹¹ Nowe therefore my sonne, the Lord shalbe with thee, and thou shalt prosper, and thou shalt builde an house to the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken of thee.

¹⁶ Of golde, of siluer, and of brasse, and of yron there is no nomber: Vp therefore, and be doing, and the Lord wilbe with thee.

²⁰ And Dauid said to Salomon his sonne, Be strong, and of a valiant courage and doe it: feare not, nor be afraide: for the Lord God, euen my God is with thee: he will not leaue thee nor forsake thee till thou hast finished all the worke for the seruice of the house of the Lord.

²⁵ With the godly thou wilt shewe thy selfe godly: with the vpright man thou wilt shew thy selfe vpright. ²⁶ With the pure thou wilt shewe thy selfe pure, and with the froward thou wilt shewe thy selfe froward.

²³ The pathes of man are directed by the Lord: for he loueth his way.

⁵ A good man is mercifull and lendeth, and will measure his affaires by iudgement.

²⁰ Therefore walke thou in the way of good men, and keepe the wayes of the righteous.

²⁶ Surely to a man that is good in his sight, God giueth wisdome, and knowledge, and ioy: but to the sinner he giueth paine, to gather, and to heape to giue to him that is good before God: this is also vanitie, and vexation of the spirit.

⁷ For the Priestes lippes shoulde preserue knowledge, and they shoulde seeke the Lawe at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hostes.

⁵⁰ And beholde, there was a man named Ioseph, which was a counseller, a good man and a iust.

²³ Iesus answered, and sayd vnto him, If any man loue me, he will keepe my worde, and my Father will loue him, and we wil come vnto him, and wil dwell with him. ²⁴ He that loueth me not, keepeth not my wordes, and the worde which ye heare, is not mine, but the Fathers which sent me.

²⁴ For he was a good man, and full of the holy Ghost, and faith, and much people ioyned them selues vnto the Lord.

⁴ Or despisest thou the riches of his bountifulnesse, and patience, and long sufferance, not knowing that the bountifulnesse of God leadeth thee to repentance? ⁵ But thou, after thine hardnesse, and heart that canot repent, heapest vp as a treasure vnto thy selfe wrath against the day of wrath, and of the declaration of the iust iudgement of God, ⁶ Who wil reward euery man according to his woorkes: ⁷ That is, to them which through patience in well doing, seeke glorie, and honour, and immortalitie, euerlasting life: ⁸ But vnto them that are contentious and disobey the trueth, and obey vnrighteousnesse, shalbe indignation and wrath. ⁹ Tribulation and anguish shalbe vpon the soule of euery man that doeth euill: of the Iewe first, and also of the Grecian. ¹⁰ But to euery man that doeth good, shalbe glory, and honour, and peace: to the Iew first, and also to the Grecian. ¹¹ For there is no respect of persons with God. ¹² For as many as haue sinned without the Lawe, shall perish also without the Lawe: and as many as haue sinned in the Lawe, shall be iudged by the Lawe, ¹³ (For the hearers of the Lawe are not righteous before God: but the doers of the Lawe shalbe iustified.

¹³ Watch ye: stand fast in the faith: quite you like men, and be strong.

⁸ Furthermore, brethre, whatsoeuer things are true, whatsoeuer things are honest, whatsoeuer thinges are iust, whatsoeuer thinges are pure, whatsoeuer thinges are worthie loue, whatsoeuer things are of good report, if there be any vertue, or if there be any praise, thinke on these things, ⁹ Which yee haue both learned and receiued, and heard, and seene in mee: those things doe, and the God of peace shalbe with you.

¹ Thou therefore, my sonne, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Iesus.
