¹ And furthermore we beseeche you, brethren, and exhort you in the Lord Iesus, that ye increase more and more, as ye haue receiued of vs, how ye ought to walke, and to please God.

⁹ But the righteous wil holde his way, and he whose hands are pure, shall increase his strength.

¹⁴ They shall still bring foorth fruite in their age: they shall be fat and flourishing,

¹⁸ But the way of the righteous shineth as the light, that shineth more and more vnto the perfite day.

² Euery branch that beareth not fruite in me, he taketh away: and euery one that beareth fruite, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruite.

²⁷ For I haue kept nothing backe, but haue shewed you all the counsell of God.

⁸ So then they that are in the flesh, can not please God.

¹ I Beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that yee giue vp your bodies a liuing sacrifice, holy, acceptable vnto God, which is your reasonable seruing of God. ² And fashion not your selues like vnto this worlde, but bee yee changed by the renewing of your minde, that ye may prooue what that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God is.

²³ For I haue receiued of the Lord that which I also haue deliuered vnto you, to wit, That the Lord Iesus in the night when he was betrayed, tooke bread:

¹ Moreouer brethren, I declare vnto you the Gospel, which I preached vnto you, which ye haue also receiued, and wherein ye continue,

⁵⁸ Therefore my beloued brethren, be ye stedfast, vnmoueable, aboundant alwayes in the worke of the Lord, forasmuch as ye knowe that your labour is not in vaine in the Lord.

⁹ Wherefore also we couet, that both dwelling at home, and remouing from home, we may be acceptable to him.

¹ So we therefore as workers together beseech you, that ye receiue not the grace of God in vaine.

¹ Nowe I Paul my selfe beseech you by the meekenes, and gentlenes of Christ, which when I am present among you am base, but am bolde toward you being absent:

¹¹ Finally brethren, fare ye well: be perfect: be of good comfort: be of one minde: liue in peace, and the God of loue and peace shalbe with you.

¹ I therefore, being prisoner in the Lord, praie you that yee walke worthie of the vocation whereunto yee are called,

²⁰ But yee haue not so learned Christ,

¹⁷ Wherefore, be ye not vnwise, but vnderstand what the will of the Lord is.

⁹ And this I pray, that your loue may abound, yet more and more in knowledge, and in all iudgement,

²⁷ Onely let your conuersation be, as it becommeth the Gospel of Christ, that whether I come and see you, or els be absent, I may heare of your matters that ye continue in one Spirit, and in one mind, fighting together through the faith of the Gospel.

¹⁴ And follow hard toward the marke, for the prise of the hie calling of God in Christ Iesus.

¹⁰ That ye might walke worthy of the Lord, and please him in all things, being fruitefull in all good workes, and increasing in the knowledge of God,

⁶ As ye haue therefore receiued Christ Iesus the Lord, so walke in him,

¹¹ As ye knowe how that we exhorted you, and comforted, and besought euery one of you (as a father his children) ¹² That ye would walke worthy of God, who hath called you vnto his kingdome and glorie.

¹² And the Lord increase you, and make you abound in loue one toward another, and towarde all men, euen as we doe toward you:

² For ye knowe what commandements we gaue you by the Lord Iesus.

¹⁰ Yea, and that thing verily yee doe vnto all the brethren, which are throughout all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more, ¹¹ And that ye studie to be quiet, and to meddle with your owne busines, and to worke with your owne handes, as we commanded you, ¹² That yee may behaue your selues honestly towarde them that are without, and that nothing be lacking vnto you.

³ We ought to thanke God alwayes for you, brethren, as it is meete, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the loue of euery one of you toward another, aboundeth,

¹ Now we beseech you, brethren, by the comming of our Lord Iesus Christ, and by our assembling vnto him,

¹ Furthermore, brethren, pray for vs, that the worde of the Lord may haue free passage and be glorified, euen as it is with you,

¹⁰ For euen when we were with you, this we warned you of, that if there were any, which would not worke, that he should not eate. ¹¹ For we heare, that there are some which walke among you inordinately, and worke not at all, but are busie bodies. ¹² Therefore them that are such, we warne and exhort by our Lord Iesus Christ, that they worke with quietnes, and eate their owne bread.

²¹ I charge thee before God and the Lord Iesus Christ, and the elect Angels, that thou obserue these thinges without preferring one to an other, and doe nothing partially.

¹³ I charge thee in the sight of God, who quickeneth all thinges, and before Iesus Christ, which vnder Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession, ¹⁴ That thou keepe this commandement without spot, and vnrebukeable, vntill the appearing of our Lord Iesus Christ,

¹ I charge thee therefore before God, and before the Lord Iesus Christ, which shall iudge the quicke and dead at that his appearing, and in his kingdome,

⁹ Yet for loues sake I rather beseeche thee, though I be as I am, euen Paul aged, and euen nowe a prisoner for Iesus Christ. ¹⁰ I beseeche thee for my sonne Onesimus, whome I haue begotten in my bondes,

⁶ But without faith it is vnpossible to please him: for he that commeth to God, must beleeue that God is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seeke him.

¹⁶ To doe good, and to distribute forget not: for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

²² I beseeche you also, brethren, suffer the wordes of exhortation: for I haue written vnto you in fewe wordes.

⁵ Therefore giue euen all diligence thereunto: ioyne moreouer vertue with your faith: and with vertue, knowledge: ⁶ And with knowledge, temperance: and with temperance, patience: and with patience, godlines: ⁷ And with godlines, brotherly kindnes: and with brotherly kindnes, loue. ⁸ For if these things be among you, and abound, they will make you that ye neither shalbe idle, nor vnfruitfull in the acknowledging of our Lord Iesus Christ: ⁹ For he that hath not these things, is blinde, and can not see farre off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his olde sinnes. ¹⁰ Wherefore, brethren, giue rather diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye doe these things, ye shall neuer fall.

¹⁸ But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ: to him be glory both now and for euermore. Amen.

²² And whatsoeuer we aske we receiue of him, because we keepe his commandements, and do those things which are pleasing in his sight.
