¹⁶ For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt saue thine husband? Or what knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt saue thy wife?

³⁰ The fruite of the righteous is as a tree of life, and he that winneth soules, is wise.

¹⁰ Likewise I say vnto you, there is ioy in the presence of the Angels of God, for one sinner that conuerteth.

¹⁴ To trie if by any meanes I might prouoke them of my flesh to follow them, and might saue some of them.

²² To the weake I become as weake, that I may winne the weake: I am made all thinges to all men, that I might by all meanes saue some.

¹⁶ Take heede vnto thy selfe, and vnto learning: continue therein: for in doing this thou shalt both saue thy selfe, and them that heare thee.

¹⁹ Brethren, if any of you hath erred from the trueth, and some man hath conuerted him, ²⁰ Let him know that he which hath conuerted the sinner from going astray out of his way, shall saue a soule from death, and shall hide a multitude of sinnes.

¹ Likewise let the wiues bee subiect to their husbands, that euen they which obey not the worde, may without the worde be wonne by the conuersation of the wiues, ² While they beholde your pure conuersation, which is with feare.
