²¹ Therefore let no man reioyce in men: for all things are yours.

²³ Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisedome, nor the strong man glorie in his strength, neyther the riche man glorie in his riches. ²⁴ But let him that glorieth, glorie in this, that he vnderstandeth, and knoweth me: for I am the Lord, which shewe mercie, iudgement, and righteousnes in the earth: for in these things I delite, sayth the Lord.

¹³ For the promise that he should be the heire of the worlde, was not giuen to Abraham, or to his seede, through the Lawe, but through the righteousnesse of faith.

²⁸ Also we knowe that all thinges worke together for the best vnto them that loue God, euen to them that are called of his purpose.

³² Who spared not his owne Sonne, but gaue him for vs all to death, how shall he not with him giue vs all things also?

¹² Nowe this I say, that euery one of you saith, I am Pauls, and I am Apollos, and I am Cephas, and I am Christs. ¹³ Is Christ deuided? was Paul crucified for you? either were ye baptized into the name of Paul? ¹⁴ I thanke God, that I baptized none of you, but Crispus, and Gaius, ¹⁵ Lest any should say, that I had baptized into mine owne name. ¹⁶ I baptized also the houshold of Stephanas: furthermore knowe I not, whether I baptized any other. ¹⁷ For CHRIST sent me not to baptize, but to preache the Gospel, not with wisdome of wordes, lest the crosse of Christ should be made of none effect.

⁴ For when one sayeth, I am Pauls, and another, I am Apollos, are yee not carnall? ⁵ Who is Paul then? and who is Apollos, but the ministers by whome yee beleeued, and as the Lord gaue to euery man? ⁶ I haue planted, Apollos watred, but God gaue the increase. ⁷ So then, neither is hee that planteth any thing, neither hee that watreth, but God that giueth the increase.

⁶ Nowe these things, brethren, I haue figuratiuely applied vnto mine owne selfe and Apollos, for your sakes, that ye might learne by vs, that no man presume aboue that which is written, that one swell not against another for any mans cause.

⁵ For we preach not our selues, but Christ Iesus the Lord, and our selues your seruaunts for Iesus sake.

¹⁵ For all thinges are for your sakes, that that most plenteous grace by the thankesgiuing of many, may redound to the praise of God.

⁷ He that ouercommeth, shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my sonne.
